The product works as advertised but there were 3 different versions of this kit apparently:Version 1)what’s pictured in the ad, 1 bracket and a post to install with the strut.Version 2)What the instructions showed, 2 brackets that look the same, different install location than version 1Version 3)1 bracket same as the other two “versions”1 totally different bracket not pictured online or in the instructions that you have to figure out where to place and how to orient.All in all it went okay and the struts work well but it took like 20 mins to long to figure out which brackets to use where.4 stars: instructions sucked and ad was off but good part.

The installation instructions are not very useful, the hood does not close flat at the back so as to be even with the finders. I tried to install them on a 2015 Scion XB.
