Opening and closing the OEM Bronco soft top can be a difficult task. It often requires a second set of hands or having to climb in the back of the vehicle to operate Bronco’s heavy and cumbersome soft top frame. Even basic functions like cargo access is a chore that calls for a prop rod to hold the heavy rear hatch open. Constant battles with your soft top can be very frustrating, but we’ve developed the perfect solution to make your factory soft top easy to use.
The EZ solution
IAG’s EZ-Lift Soft Top Assist System was designed to solve the functionality and weight issues with your Bronco’s OEM soft top. Our EZ-Lift System incorporates the use of two gas struts that provide an extra boost to make lifting & lowering your soft top a lot easier. With our system, you can single-handedly open & close the top from the side without having to get help or climb into the back. Easy cargo access
The system provides easy access to your Bronco’s cargo area and eliminates the need for the factory prop rod. Just pop the cargo release levers and let the EZ-Lift System safely hold the cargo cover open for you. The EZ-Lift struts are strong enough to handle the weight of the rear cover without any additional support, allowing you to load and unload your Bronco with ease. Additionally, the EZ-Lift System is fully compatible with the OEM Cargo Area Security Enclosure, ensuring a perfect fit.
Easy 15 minute installation!
The IAG EZ-Lift Soft Top Assist System bolts directly to pre-existing mounting points on your 2021+ Ford Bronco’s OEM soft top and interior cargo area. There is no need for cutting, drilling or permanent modifications. The EZ-Lift System features full written and video instructions and includes all the necessary hardware required for installation. The entire job can be done in about 15 minutes using basic hand tools in your own garage.

I have a 2021 Ford Bronco and raising the soft top was a two person job. This kit makes raising and lowering the roof way easier!

I followed the IAG installation video and the install was very easy and it took me about 25 minutes taking my time. When I was done I tested the release of the soft top. The top would only go up an inch or so and then I had to “assist” it the rest of the way. The struts held the top in place but they are not strong enough to prop it open. I call the support number and I talk to the tech and I explain what is going on and right away they knew the issue. The 2023 and 2023 have a heavier top because of a thicker fabric being used on the tops. They just started testing heavier duty struts on a newer Bronco and he said they working as expected. He confirmed my information and told me once they have the struts they will send them out to me. For me the customer service aspect is just as import as the product they make and this was a really good experience with IAG. When looking for upgrade to my Bronco this IAG will be my first place to look.UPDATE 3/20/24: As promised IAG sent out the new struts and they work like they should now. Like I said nothing beats great customer service and IAG has it.

I am not sure why Ford didn’t design this into their tops to begin with. The assist is soooo much easier to use than the factory prop rod and with this installed, you don’t have to worry about bumping that piece of metal that was always in the way! No more hitting that while loading in a box and getting smacked by the top coming back down. I can’t wait for the weather to clear up and see how easy it is to raise and lower the entire top. Would definitely recommend simply for the ease of access to the cargo area.

Read a lot of positive reviews for these so decided to pick them up. Installation was under 30 minutes and super easy for 1 person. Just follow the video on Amazon as it does not come with any instructions. It is nice to not have to use the little prop arm anymore to hold up the back of the soft top. The real star of the show is going from having your top all the way back to normal. It goes up with little effort almost on its own.I’d love to get the second piece for this with the easy release/handles but for the price it isn’t worth it. It’s easy enough to open and close this with this kit. I’m sure it would be awesome to have but no way it’s worth another $250.

Installed on my 23 Badlands and overall it works very well. It makes putting the top back an one handed operation. Not difficult to take top down either.However, for what it is, I think it is way overpriced. Should be less than $70.
