Used this to keep down the heat coming through my transmission tunnel. Worked well.

I used this to line the cabinets in my parent’s house. My parents are older now, and sometimes they leave the toaster oven running without shutting it off. Has happened a few times. So I worry about fire risk. I bought this to line the cabinet above the toaster oven which sits just a little bit too low for my level of comfort. Should a fire occur it would go right into the bottom of the cabinet overhang and spread quickly. (Of course you are probably thinking why don’t I just move the toaster, but the entire kitchen is built like this, no other options). So I bought this liner and used it under the cabinet and between the toaster and the cabinet. It was easy to cut, stuck well, and hasn’t not lost it’s hold. I held a lighter up to it to test it and worked very well to retard the flame from the lighter with basically zero impact. Good product, recommend.

The material works great for heat protection. The only downside is that the adhesive is not strong at all. I was able to make it work with construction glue.

I had to purchase this product to place against an interior wall and above my natural gas 35,000 btu vented heater. Heater generates a large amount of heat that heats up the area of wall above it. This product does not get hot and reflects tge heat back into living area.
