So far it works well, not going to drive thru a pond to test it but it has done it`s job on normal rain,snow and offroad mud.

I have a weopen-r dragon intake for my grand am, and i have hood scoops that bring all the outside element around my intake. When i drove around with rain or snow, i could feel my car lose power, and it running like s***. I was looking for one that didn’t have a big K&N sign on it because my intake wasn’t that, so this work perfect and fit great. When i drive in bad conditions i don’t feel the difference at all. I would recommend this product, and for the price you can’t beat it.

My air filter is towards a corner of the car that can receive a bit of “splash damage” when it rains hard, causing the MAF to go on the fritz when in boost. Given that this is a track car, it effectively prevented me from being able to drive on the track in the rain.I’ve had it for about a season now, and seems to be working terrifically. So far, so good; been driven a number of times in the rain and it seemed to work well.

I have not encountered a situation to prove the product claims, and honestly hope I don’t. What is important to me is that it is a quality product from a company that has a good reputation, and has been selling cold air intakes for quite some time. This product is very well made, and gives me peace of mind ! Protection against Hydrolock is very important for you intake and especialy your engine. Make sure and order correct size for your application. The sellers price point was very reasonable, and I highly recommend this product !
