I wanted something to throw in my “junk yard” tool box as well as a few other options for the garage. Although I already have a few different pics and a plastic fastener remover this kit had a LOT of other sizes that I didn’t really have. The kit comes in a nylon canvas type roll up that is perfect for keeping them all together. The various sizes of pics ARE very stout, especially the larger ones! The scraper works good for helping spread apart gaps or separate parts (valve covers off heads for example). The plastic fastener tools are awesome for getting those god forsaken plastic fasteners off that EVERY manufacturer seem to HAVE to use on every car! I throw the whole roll up in my bag to take to the junk yard because you NEVER know what you’ll need when youre there and this is an already wrapped up perfect option. The flashlight works well so far but it uses a stack of LR44 batteries which are something most people do NOT have at home. Make sure you get a handful if you get this kit and want to have batteries around for the light.Lastly, the pliers kind of surprised me. They seemed like and afterthought freebie type toss in with this kit but they are pretty decent. They aren’t that thin junk that comes in most of the tool kits for home use (the one with the screwdrivers, hammer, level, pliers, etc). Those pliers are always thin and junk. they tend to jump off the pivot pin or slip out and not close. These are NOT those pliers. They actually work pretty well!!

The quality on these tools could be better but this was bought as a second set just to keep in the car because you never know when you might need them. There are better quality ones on the market but for this price point they are good to pick up just to have around. They roll up compact for easy storage in the car too and don’t take up too much space.

These tools are of reasonably good quality. They will last a lifetime if you don’t abuse them. But if it is ever convenient, or expedient, to wreck these tools for the sake of getting a job done faster or easier, then you could do so without feeling guilty if you, um, snapped the end off one these picks, or bent the pliers out of alignment, or destroyed the trim-removal pliers by deliberately using them improperly. That’s the value I sought in these tools: Being able to use them roughly and not cry if I destroy them in the process, not that my goal is ruin them. Just that I could – guilt free. The flashlight is not convenient or economical because it needs oddball LR44 batteries. So straight to my recycling bin it goes, without any penalty to the star rating. Still 5 stars. The storage pouch is undersized given the quantity of tools, but after you throw out the flashlight, and ditch one of the two standard pliers (some place where it is convenient to leave them for routine use besides your tool shed or garage) well then, the remaining tools fit more easily – causing you less aggravation when it comes to putting them away. In other words, this is the sort of kit that starts out as a 4 star product, which you can turn into a 5 star product just by strategically eliminating a few redundant or superfluous items. Definitely a 5 star item.Given that this pick set is “emotionally expendable,” the correlated value is that you can risk destroying them by abusing them, without any of the reverence you have for more expensive tools, because their acquisition cost is so low.

The set is extremely adaptable for complicated activities like maintaining vehicle electronics because it comes with a range of picks and hooks. It is ideal for removing hoses and gaskets because of its precision tips, which make it easier to move in confined locations, and its carbon steel construction, which guarantees durability. The magnetic telescopic tool and scraper are great extras that come in handy for cleaning hard-to-reach places or picking up small metal bits. The ergonomic form of the instruments makes them easy to use for extended periods of time, and their quality is excellent. For experts and do-it-yourselfers searching for dependable and efficient hand-pick-up equipment, I heartily suggest this set.

I am super thrilled about these tools! I can use them for working on cars, pipes, and much more I need to order a set for my husbanad as he’s constantly walking off with my pliers to fix whatever wherever. So now I will order him his own set so I can keep my set together.

Great assortment if you need to pull off a door panel. The panel clip pliers are great if you can get behind the panel and will pop the Christmas tree style clips without damaging them.

It’s a perfectly functional set at a nice price, if you ask me. The picks are very functional, and there is a good variety so that you have plenty for situations that might require more than one. There are 3 pry tools for pinecone style panel clips, and the slip-joint pliers are pretty nice. I like the flashlight the best since it is so versatile, and also functions as a magnetic pickup tool at both ends. The magnet at the light end is much stronger than the one at the back, which is pretty weak. The roll up case is fine by my standards, it keeps them all together, and that’s all I really need out of it. Great for junkyard trips to get stuff for my project cars . . .Love it!
