In this pictured set up I didn’t really use the best application and isn’t for quality more so than testing this hose. That being said. I think it worked really well. I use a 7cfm 2 stage pump so it already pulls pretty quick but I think pulling stems and using a hose this size will really shave off on bigger applications. The hose itself is durable and plenty long. It does have the stem press on the small side if you don’t remove them. The gaskets on both ends seem like they can hold up for some time. I think this is a quality tool and definitely will come in handy when the units get bigger.

This upgraded high-flow vacuum refrigerant hose is a monster. It takes a little wrangling due to the thickness but wow did it perform well with pulling a vacuum below 500 microns quickly. The secret is the thickness of the hose and would offer a comparison to drinking from a straw. Try gulping your favorite frozen beverage through one of those skinny bar straws and then try it from a smoothie straw. Night and day difference right? The same principle works for refrigerant line sets and hoses. This one is performing better than my OEM at half the price. That’s good enough for 5 stars.

The 1/2 hose allowed You to vacuum a Big system in 1/6 the time than You can so it with a 1/4 hose.Worth every buck.
