I don’t always take the time to write reviews but this company one warrants one. Sorry for the long review folks, but here’s my story.I had a bad exacerbation of low back issues right before a trip to Europe & wanted a cushion for the long airplane ride. I called the company to find out which one was best for me. The company transferred me to the owner, Steve. He recommended the original for sitting & the travel for placing against my back (I’m a heavier person over 200 lbs). Steve also sent along a travel cushion for my daughter who was going on the trip. This worked out wonderfully for the plane & train rides! There is a handle for easy carry onto the plane. Also, when in Europe one of the Airbnb stays had only a futon pad to sleep on (unbeknownst to me when booking!) Since I had 3 cushions with me, I was able to lay them all out in a row & tuck them under the mattress pad to cushion my sleep area & that allowed me to have a better nights rest!Now that I’m back from my trip I have the original cushion on the seat of my Toyota Camry & the travel cushion for my back in the car. The other travel cushion I have on my computer work chair, which, interestingly, works better for me there than the original.I tried several seat cushions before finding these & these are the best out of all of them for me.Since I liked them so much, I also purchased the XL Sport cushion for sitting on the floor (also great for meditation) and another Original Cushion for my mother for sitting at her kitchen table on her hard chairs.The Regular Original is 18x17x2” which fits well on the a economy plane seat & in my bucket seats. Both the Sport & the Original cushions taper down to 1” in front for comfort on back of your legs.I’ve been using the Original & Travel daily for about 3 months now. They are broken in but the cushioning has not compressed & is still working well for me. This travel cushion folds easily & cradles my back so nicely in the car. I can even roll it up on the bottom a little bit to tuck it in the small of my back when I feel I need a little extra support.FYI, the company does have a Large Original cushion at 19.5x19x2.5” also which would be nice to sit on in a in a vehicle with larger seats, especially for longer rides.I highly recommend these cushions & also the company! Ok cushion. Gel? Not a big factor in this cushion. Got dustorted out of shape pretty quickly. Ended up someone has access to my car and stole this. There was nothing else in the car to take. Might buy another, but I will shop first.

After a motorcycle stunt gone wrong, I ended up in a wheelchair for the last 50 years.I have tried all kinds of gel and air cushions. The gel cushions got hard after a few hours of sitting and the air cushions that I got provided good relief but there were always some pressure points from the chambers.Also, the cushions lose air after a few weeks and unless I pump and test the air regularly, I end up uneven.I read about the Ergo21’s LiquiCell membranes and was intrigued. I got their Ergo21 Sports/Wheelchair cushion a couple of years ago and after 8 or 10 days my pressure sores went away. The cushion had good quality foam that gave proper support without compressing too much. The fabric cover is a stretch type material that does not pinch my skin.I got this Ergo21 Travel cushion for my other smaller portable wheelchair, and it provided the same level of comfort with no pressure points. And this travel cushion works in my car and takes the numbness away without adding any height. Highly recommended.Thank YouErgo21

I have scoliosis and have had terrible sciatica pain when sitting for almost 3 months. I have tried at least 8 different kinds of seat cushions and this is the only one that relieves the pain – and is also so conveniently portable for car/train/travel. It’s exactly what I was searching for! When I called Ergo 21 with questions, Steve, the designer and creator of the Liquicell technology called me back himself and generously gave me his time to help figure out which of their seat cushions would be best for me. He was extremely knowledgeable and supportive. I am using it in my office chair and it allows me to sit comfortably for longer periods – and for the first time in months, I am hopeful that I will be able to go on an upcoming trip without fear of the pain that is brought on by sitting. The Ergo21 Travel Cushion is a lifesaver – it’s thin, lightweight and yet relieves pressure better than any thicker seat cushions I have tried!

I own 4 of these! Fantastic product for someone with back issues – two for office, one for car, one for home. Makes a huge difference in seating comfort and reduced pressure. The thickness is just right which eliminates pressure on hamstrings. Tried just about every product there till I found this. Even though it says for travel, I use it for day to day. Makes driving very comfortable. 2 of mine are a year old and still perfect. Also – it looks good on your office chair – blends right in versus all the other brands. Price in relation to quality is perfect.
