★ Essential Super Tools ★
★ Features:
——Very simple and quick valve replacement tool, even when the tire can not be simply removed for modification and repair, this set of tools can come in handy.
——Suitable for cars, light trucks, small trailers, unicycles, lawn mowers,ATVs,motorcycles and etc..
——The T-hook will quickly pull out the damaged valve stem, the tapered positioning tube will provide positioning when the new valve stem is installed, and the push rod will push the new valve stem into the valve hole and hold it in place.
——All metal parts in the kit are made of 201 stainless steel, which can keep well even in a wet and oil-filled workshop, rust and corrosion resistant.
——This kit is for .453 valve stems only and will not work with 5/8″ valve stems and will not work with tires with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems(TPMS).
★ How to Use★
1-Please deflate the tire first, then insert the T-hook into the gap between the hub and the air valve.
2-After the T-hook is successfully inserted, rotate the T-hook so that it hooks over the valve and pull it outward.
3-Screw the new valve onto the pushrod. It is recommended to apply lubricant to the bottom of the new valve.
4-Align the positioning tube with the valve hole and fully advance the push rod through the positioning tube.
5-Pull the push rod outward until the valve is installed and unscrew it to complete the replacement.

Good tool set for removing and installing valve stems. The kit as a whole is complete, and included everything I needed to get the job done, and done properly.

I really like this kit. Allows you to change the whole rubber stem without demounting the tire. Works well and is well made. Also, using this to change/remove valve stem cores sure beats using the lid to an old Slime bottle I’ve had forever. Easy to use and high quality.

I used to change stem of golf cart tire and it worked great. It was easy to use and came with valve stems and shrader valves. Can also be used to hold the air valve on a tube to keep it from falling through the hole.

This is a good concept and I got it to work but not with the tools provided in the kit. As you can see from the pictures, the hook physically will not go through the hole. You can also see that the hook bent because it is made of soft flexible steel. I ended up using one of my picks (pictured) and that worked great. I do recommend using a generous amount of lube to help the new stem go through the hole. In the end the valve was successfully inserted.

There were a few good points about this kit. I did not have to take the tire off the truck, the valve and stem tools were decent.BUTThe hook to remove the old stem did not fit through the valve stem hole in my rim. (See pic) I tried to make the hook smaller with a hammer, but was not successful. Trying to get it jammed under the old valve stem did rip the rubber enough that I was able to rip the outside of the old one off. The inside part is still in the tire, but I’m not worried about that. The plastic funnel for compressing the new valve stem was too wide to fit into the indent around the valve stem hole. I had to file the edge down quite a bit to even get it close. There was still enough of a gap that trying to push it in by hand only hurt my wrist. After taking the handle off the pusher tool, a big chunk of 6×6 lumber was used to drive it in. I needed to reset the funnel and new stem several times, but eventually hit it hard enough to get the new stem into place.I’m keeping the kit in my truck for emergency purposes, but I can’t see doing another valve stem with it as a first choice.

Came in good packaging. The hook to remove the valve is too thick of material. I couldn’t manage to push it in between valve and rim.But with pliers and a knife, you can always take the old one out.Seating the new valve went astonishingly good and flawless. New valve is in and works as it should. The spare valves are of decent quality
