I bought this to replace the existing trim (1st gen, same mfr.) on my 2001 F-250 (the rubber ‘gaskets’ were starting to crack). I was hoping for an exact replacement fit. Not so. The newer version is quite a bit narrower and the steel construction is a lot thinner. I’m not saying it was as thin as aluminum foil, but it was definitely thin enough that it would dent/deform much easier. I wasn’t happy at all with the quality and returned the product.I enede up contacting the mfr. and purchased replacement gasket for my original trim. Happy now.

Does not properly fit, rear trim does not match the body lines or curves and is cut short, and the front stuck too far out that the screw holes pit the screws outside of the fenders scratching the paint. Would NOT recommend
