My boat fuel gauge went out and I was worried about having to take my boat in for repairs, knowing the initial charge for a repair was probably going to be high. Well, I did a little research and ordered this part online, and it was very easy to fix. All that was needed, was to remove the old unit and replace it with the new one, and problem fixed. Great experience, even better without the shop charges..

So glad I decided to troubleshoot and figure out what was going on with my fuel gauge. After testing, it was obvious that my original fuel gauge was bad. This replacement is terrific. The only problem with it is what other people have stated about the instrument light. It doesn’t glow red like the factory gauge that I replaced. I am going to try and install a red LED bulb and see if it helps so that it will match better with the other Instrument lights on my boat. 1996 ProCraft 150 Mercury Efi.
