Why in world would you sale a complete gearbox and motor knowing the bolts are to long for the motor. The bolts bolt down to the gearbox and hit the gear causing it to hit the gear. Which will not let the gear move. I spend a lot of time working on the steps before I found the problem.

Product was fine, problem was no instructions on how to assemble, came with 2 washers, needed 3, finally figured out how to assemble motor to gearbox, instructions would be very helpful

The bolts that come with the kit are too long and hit the gear. use your old bolts. Other than that worked great.

I had to remove 3/8 of an inch from the bolts so they wouldn’t interfere with the gear.Also, the holes in the mounting plate were a bit too large, so I used the old mounting plate.

The motor was good but the gear box did not work so I had to use the original one and when I inspected it the new gear box was full of metal shavings

This worked as designed. Installation was straight forward. Unbolt and remove the old and install the new. Perfect fit with no need for adjustments.
