This is great. It was a very easy swap for my old doorlock and even looks good. It works like a champ and now I don’t have to worry about losing my keys or getting locked out of my RV. We travel and hike a lot and I was always worried about losing my keys on the trail or in the ocean. I already did that once, in Mexico, and it’s isn’t fun. Now I can hide my keys inside and go or a hike/dive without worries.This is well made and very easy to install. It only took a few minutes and was a perfect fit. I should have done this years ago.

This is the Rokkit RV Door Lock Replacement Keyless Entry Keypad – 100% Metal RV Door Lock Latch with Deadbolt.Just go it installed into my 2022 5th wheel RV, fitted with a Lippert exterior door. The pre-cut out for entry door lock opening is 2.75”x3.75”. No modifications needed if the lock assembly opening are to the specs mentioned.The door lock has a good weight to it. It’s not by all means light. Feels sturdy and solid. Durability over time will tell over time. Extremely easy to install. From start to finish, accumulatively, it was about 15-20 minutes. I did reuse the latch plate and the strike plate, so that did help with the getting completed sooner.Honestly, i was doing this by myself. I should have utilized an extra set of hands just to hold the outside half into the door lock opening, while getting the inside half lined up into the opening and while positioning the power cable and antenna wire, as to insure they are not pinched or in the way of the door lock mechanical functions. Also, trying to align up and set the first couple of screws that secure the two halves together. The two pieces need to be in close proximity to get the fastener hole aligned and it’s clear from the mechanical workings.The instructions are a little choppy to understand. It will be you through. Just read between the lines, and don’t take every work literally. Your intuition will kick in to get you through the install.The remote. Looks pretty neat and feels pretty solid. Although plastic, it doesn’t feel like that cheap “airy” plastic. The plastic feels like better quality. When programming the remote. To learn the remote You are instructed to depress the FOB LEARN “button hole” located near the battery cover plate. Then press the lock button on the remote for 2-seconds, a couple of audible beeps will be observed. Indicating the remote is pair with the lock. My gripe with the remote. There are two unlock and two lock buttons physically on the remote. If you depress either button, it performs its respective function. So my curiosity, if you had another similar lock and remote, can the other door be pair to the same remote that controls the other lock? So essentially, can the one remote, operate both doors, and be paired separately? This is not tested as I only have the one physical entry door lock assembly. (My RV does have 2 separate entry doors).I was exactly not sure what to expect when I requested the, I can say the unsurety has subsided and am fairly impressed with this RV/trailer entry door lock assembly . The heavy duty build has a good solid feel. The locking (remotely and manual locking) work smoothly. I am not noticing any hangups during the remote and automated operation. The manual operation works flawlessly.The remote range is decent. I had no way to verify this scientifically, but by having someone hang back at the RV and by phone report my position and pressing the lock and lock button. The range of comfort of operation is acceptable. Not too sure if I would really want a long range of remote operation. There appears to be an option to turn on/off the remote operation. This disables the use the remote transmitter, by enabling the switch just under the FOB LEARN button. Toggling the switch off/on allowing the functionality.Overall, a very nice RV remote/key pad entry door lock assembly. Performs and is constructed with quality. I would highly recommend it for a good value for functionality and dependability.

This Rokkit brand entry door lock is awesome with 3 ways to access the camper, with the keys, a numerical code or the key fobs. The lock is easy to install and set up a code for entry. The key fobs pair easily and work great, they control both locks in the handle. This is a great system with the convenience of the remotes to carry when you go exploring.

I got this to use on my travel trailer. I wanted to replace the OEM door lock that came with the travel trailer and put one on that allowed for keyless entry. One of my worries has been that we would accidentally lose our keys and be unable to open the door. So, when I came across this product, I thought I would give it a try.Assembling and installing this lock was fairly easy for me to do. The instructions provided were easy for me to follow and the lock fit perfectly in the spot where the original lock was located on the door. It was a little bit challenging getting the smaller screws installed, but after a few tries I was successful. Otherwise, I didn’t find the installation process to be very difficult at all and only took me a few minutes. The lock looks great and professional on the door.Programing the PIN code was also fairly simple as well. The instructions were easy enough for me to understand and follow the process for programming and it was a quick process for me. I opted not to use the remote controls, so I do not have any feedback on that feature.I found this to be a great product that worked just for what I needed it for. I have no complaints!

We wanted something to provide a little better ease of access for our fifth wheel RV, and couldn’t have picked a better product. This lock system feels well made and the form replaced the existing standard lock system flawlessly. Now we have some options for entry, which comes in handy with arms full, prepping for a camping weekend. Fobs are responsive, keys turn effortlessly, handles feel solid, and the code system was a snap to program.
