I tried this on my 2014 Sierra with a 5.3 litre it does exactly what it’s supposed to do keeps in 8 cylinder making the truck run a lot smoother does not seem to shift and jerk all the time like it use to it did not affect the fuel mileage at all I am satisfied with this product and would recommend it for anyone who is wondering about it
Customer –
The box is battered and the unit was loose inside the box. Plugged it in and only one LED light is on. Smelled like it ran rich. 2017 Chevy Tahoe with 20l miles. It did stay in V8 mode. Defective if nothing more than LED lights not working and probs my used. Sending back. Will try again with a direct order from the manufacturer.Update: I ordered one direct from the manufacturer and the box and item is clearly brand new. The unit has a clear plastic protective vinyl on it which the unit above didn’t have. Works like it should. Seems like Amazon resellers are selling a lot of used/returned.

Bought it 1 month ago, so far is great. My truck wouldn’t go into V4 mode anymore since I leave it always on.

Plug and play… just make sure you select the correct model for your truck (year is important as it needs to be for that specific type of transmission). I didn’t notice any fuel mileage deterioration (might even be slightly better).

Plugged it in and it will still shut off 1 out 5 times you stop. As far as I can tell it never did do away with the AFM. Very disappointed
