John Tchoe –
Two, one for each side, came packaged in a big ziploc bag, with each in its own ziploc as well. They seem to be made of real carbon fiber, not just plastic with carbon fiber stickers on it. They weigh a lot less than the aluminum stock plates. You will need a 5 mm Allen wrench and a small 10 mm socket or pliers. The left side is super easy to install. Remove the old one by breaking the 5 mm hex bolts with the allen wrench, then hold the 10 mm nuts with one hand while you remove the hex bolts with the other.Put the new carbon fiber plate on the same way, then tighten with your socket or pliers and allen wrench. The right side is the same procedure, except the bottom nut is hard to get to, because the rear beak mechanism gets in the way. You will need to figure out a way to hold the nut while you break the bolt, then later to tighten it.When you’re done, it looks good! I’ve included before and after pictures with this review.
