I I sprayed my Chrome emblems on my Gray 2018 F150 and have gone through 10 car washes so far and they’re holding up .Easy to do don’t have to pre sand , just clean everything very well and spray 5 or 6 light wet coats.

I’m not the first, probably won’t be the last. Don’t buy this, no cangun included.

I used this because I thought there was too much chrome on my Subaru emblems and it worked really well. I don’t have a garage, so I was worried about that. I was able to find a sunny not windy day and it took multiple overlays, but it became thick enough to my liking. I love it and I don’t have that chrome I couldn’t stand. It has not scratched off and it has been 2 years since I applied it. I live in all 4 seasons, so that is saying a lot. Try it, if I can do it anyone can!

I used this to black out the emblems on my new Sequoia. Worked great! Important to start with light coats then slowly increase the coverage with additional coats. I applied 6-7 coats while using a heat gun to bake things in between. Coverage is smooth and even. I was worried about adhesion going through the carwash, but it held up absolutely fine. Be sure to protect against overspray.

Not as durable as the dip but more versatile

I was thinking about getting all black emblems for my truck until I came across a video on you tube showing this product. I instantly went to Amazon and purchased. It was a little nerve racking but, wow, I’m impressed! Just what I needed for my truck to match the black and red theme! Start to finish was about 2 hours (3 main emblems and a small “LT” emblem). Do the necessary research on how to apply! You will need painters tape, paper to mask off other areas, microfiber cloth for potential run off, and some tooth picks (to peel away smaller spaces). Highly recommend!

I got this one with the sprayer thinking it would be easier to apply the product but found either the nozzle or sprayer would drip. After this realization I made shorter sweeps to clear any oncoming drips. Otherwise everything else was fine and instructions were clear and easy to follow. So far it’s been durable.
