This review is for the RHOX BG-122 Brush Bar. Let me start by saying that I give the brush bar itself a 5-star rating. I love the look of this bar compared to the competition. It is designed nicely to contour the front end of the Precedent while still allowing the light kit to remain functional and protected. The bar and brackets installed easily with one caveat. They lined up perfectly as if they were factory OEM parts.Now the bad…….. minus one star for shipping. not sure who is at fault here, but the package was torn open on both ends when it arrived at my house from FedEx. Not sure if that is the FedEx’s fault or the poor packaging. Probably somewhere in the middle with both parties being at fault. The result of this left me with a brush bar that is already scuffed up and one of the end caps did not seat in properly at it was slightly dented. It’s a brush bar and it is intended to take those scuffs so I decided not to return it and install it as is.Next problem… Minus one more star. I was sent the wrong bolts or the correct bolts fell out of the holes that were torn into the box. I believe I was sent the wrong pack because there were some bolts and the end caps in a sealed bag. Two 3″ bolts with washers and nuts is what i received. The four nuts are welded on to the mounting bracket. To attach the bar to the bracket you need four 1″ bolts. I went and picked up 4 stainless bolts that fit nicely from my local hardware store. Not a huge deal, but my expectation is to receive all of the correct quality hardware that fits properly.The bar also has welded on tabs for mounting lights. I do not intend to use those. They are aligned nicely if that is your plan.The end result is I really like the bar for the price. I just had a few issues along the way. I would recommend this bar and buy it again.

This fit the Presedent Golf Cart very well, I was afraid that the top bar would block the head light, but it does not, fit and finish is perfect, the delivery and price was also excellent from this seller. I saw reviews for this and most of the complaints were to do with shipping causing problems but that wasn’t the case for this purchase. About the only thing I could see is that the hardware has to be left loose, then once in place everything needs to be tightened so it all pulls itself together nicely. I was able to assemble it without taking the head light assy off, but then again I have a 6″ lift. If you want some big Hulking Guard for the front of the cart this might not be what you want, but it does purtrude slightly, has a nice wrap so it curves up and around the Front Cowl Bumper. That said, believe me it will protect the front of the cart. Fits my needs perfectly.

Nice brush guard. No instructions but easy to figure out if you are mechanically inclined. I recommend you don’t tighten everything up until it’s mounted. I hear there is a video on youtube for install but I didn’t look at it since I don’t know what to look for.

I wanted to add a brush guard to make my golf cart look like a Buckeye helmet. 😀 I wanted to decorate it with something different in our golf cart community where everyone has same color, etc. Looks great and is sturdy! Quick ship, great price and easy to install. Go Bucks!

Nice looking setup, no directions, easy enough to figure out if you are mechanically inclined , the light is not blocked, will help protect the cart

Looks great and is extremely solid. Almost easy to install, but no instructions. If you are mechanically adept, that isn’t a big problem. But still, it would be good to have instructions as someone may try to mount the bracket below the fram rather than above. Another point to consider is that you have to trim a healthy amount of the plastic bumper on the golf cart to get this to seat properly for the bolts. Really, that isn’t a biggie and it is easy enough to do and where you do the trimming, it wont be visible. But, here again, having a template or at least an instruction sheet would have saved me a lot of time. Sone right, this is an easy 30 minute install. But as it is, having to do some trial and error cut and fit, it pushes it over an hour.2016 Club Car Precedent
