The Heavy Duty Smoke Pencil ONE is the tool Professional Energy Raters and Contractors use to identify drafts and air leaks in a home. This non-toxic smoke stick generates a small trail or large puff of smoke to help you identify drafts. Simply pull the trigger on the Smoke Pencil Pro near the area that you suspect a draft and see how the smoke moves to show air current or leakage.

Upgrades to the Smoke Pencil ONE include a more robust battery cover with improved configuration, a green LED light to make the smoke more visible, new trigger locking mechanism that makes it less likely to activate the trigger accidentally while it is stored, better visibility on the fill / empty tank windows to read the fluid level, higher quality tighter plugs on fill and empty tank, and new fog fluid with higher glycerin content for thicker vapor with less sputtering.

You control the amount of smoke this Smoke Pencil generates by holding the finger trigger, even upside down (with included cone adapter tip)! The fog comes out of the top chimney to reveal any drafts or leaks in your home, automobile, or business.
The new cone adapter also allows you to control the puff of vapor to a smaller stream of smoke, so you can pinpoint where an air leak or draft is coming from.

Find the leak even in dark spaces! The highly visible green light on the top of the Smoke Pencil ONE illuminates the area you are testing for easy air movement detection.
Fluid Included.
A 3 oz bottle of non-toxic smoke fluid made of sweet smelling water, glycol, and glycerin (similar to toy train smoke) is also included with the Smoke Pencil ONE and features a special filling tube for easy setup.

Non stop changing batteries. Switch for in off is loose and bad design. Excellent product, poor performance.

Works fairly well. Difficult to secure plug in fill port, so leaks at times. Pump trigger is inconsistent, large puff at times and less at times. Strength of batteries may have some affect on amount of smoke. I may need to learn to work it. Product met my needs.

When it works it works well. The design needs refinement as fluid can easily leak into other parts of the unit, rendering it useless. The method of siphoning fluid from the unit after use is cumbersome and not always effective either

Used this for a job to visualize airflow. It works great it produces a large amount of thick mist to visualize air flow well with or without a flashlight aiming on the smoke.Threw it in a back pack and it turned on (even after using the lock on the trigger) and it overheated and melted out the filament. It’s just a poorly designed mechanism for triggering the heating element.There needs to be a way to store this like a tool. It can’t be so delicate. It’s essentially a large vape pen.

These units are incredibly sensitive.1 was not working when I removed it from the box and set it up. Dead on arrival1 broke within a week of using it. Not sure of the problem. Element was heating previously, had fresh juice and batteries. Wouldn’t turn on. Cleaned contacts still nothing.Cheap construction, and design. Will not buy again and recommend against this.

Works great for value. Close in value to smoke pens but better. Cheaply made but as I just noted a smoke pen costs about the same and this works a lot better so comparatively it is great. Well worth the price versus other options. I use smoke testers regularly for work and am happy with it even considering it might not last very long which is why I gave it five stars.
