Great little test light, solid lead and clip. Mine was yellow, and I dont think the bulbs are that durable to knocks.

For the Price It’s a great deal. Very Happy with the purchase. You didn’t pay $30 for this test light, and no, it’s not a glass tube.. It’s feels little light but it works fine and it draws about 30 milliamps.

Item arrived intact and on time. I’m a little upset because the cord isn’t the “high visibility” green like showed in the picture, which is really the only reason I bought it. I already have it in red from OTC (so I know it works great). And so does everyone else in my shop. Figured getting it in green would instantly let me, and everyone else know it was mine. No luck.

Don’t waste your money. This thing is a piece of junk. The probe is too short to back probe anything. It has a junky LED instead of a proper bulb. Spend the extra $12 and buy the mini test light made by OTC. That one is a professional grade tool at a great price.

Test light doesn’t come with the green coil wire, it comes with a red one.The main earth clip is of poor quality and doesn’t have a good clamp force so I have had to replace this with a more suitable clip.The bulb in this an Led inside a glass tube to give the effect of an incandescent style lamp.So again this was quickly placed in the bin and replaced with one of my OTC replacement red bulbs.The actual body of the device and the probe are of good quality as is the screw on alligator clip which is a main reason I purchased this light.Overall with a bit of modification you can make a decent test light.

don’t waste your time and money ,product show use regular bulb but when i received it is LED bulb. finally order OTC test light

Advertised with incandescent bulb. Comes with LED. No use for loading an electrical circuit

The “plastic” boot over the large copper clip is so hard that you can not open the clip with the boot on it.The connection of the cord to the clip is just crimped on and not soldered which can lead to contact problems.The LED light is dim on 12volt systems.This would be a good product with a few simple improvements.
