I was researching and looking for weeks for a helmet lock that is not the clunky cheap metal like all of them. Found this one, but was hesitant due to no reviews. I ordered it because it looked like what I was looking for and oh boy what a win. It’s not clunky and ugly like all the other ones. It’s black so it’s stealthy and suttle (not an eye sore on my bike). It’s very sturdy and strong. And super easy to install. It comes with a few rubber rings so you can fit it to any width of bars. Love it. Stop shopping around and get this one!

Very good quality product. My bars are tapered and thick. I had my doubts. But I was impressed at how well this fit. Its perfect! Keeps my helmet safe and looks great!

This is a nice, solid lock. It mounts by unlocking the shackle, and once open, the hex bolt screws in through the shackle well. When locked closed, the bolt is completely inaccessible, which brings up the key count. With three keys, I always have plenty of spares.Locationally, I mounted mine to my back crash bar on my Vulcan Nomad 1700. I was unable to mount to the front bar as it was to wide for the lock. But it seems to fit every other tube on the bike. I would never mount it to the handle bars as the helmet could scratch the paint.

Easy install on my Harley Sporster and for the occasional need to secure a helmet this is value for the money. The fit was nice and appearance did not interfere with the steering controls. I would buy again.

After reading a lot of the reviews for this helmet hook which were mostly positive I decided to give it a try even though according to the description my handlebars which are 25.5 mm thick are too thick. Turns out it’s a perfect fit as a matter of fact I even had to put in one of the rubber gaskets because the Lock circumference was too wide. It was easy to install and I just put it in a few days ago and so far everything works perfectly. I do recommend it.
