These tank protective overlays are clean edge to edge with no rubber irregularities. Both pads come with die cut sections of double-sided 3M brand adhesive tape to affix them to the motorcycle tank. Two alcohol prep wipes to clean the surface prior installation were also included.The only reservation I have is the loose attachment tape may not be the best choice for a painted metal fuel tank. Additionally, I am a little puzzled as to why the attachment tape was not already bonded to the rubber protective panels.With that, I will wait to install these on a warm day after properly cleaning both surfaces. Should they come loose, switching to automotive grade (gray backed autobody molding 3M tape) will correct that. 4 out of 5 stars land here.
