Just did an oil change for a Ram 1500 5.7 and initial start up was very smooth and a quiet engine. While driving the engine sounded very good no noise from operation. This SRT blend of oil is made for the Dodge muscle cars so it is going to be very robust. The oil that was in it was Amsoil 0/40 signature series which is also a very good oil. Either way you go you can’t go wrong. I have used Penzoil Ultra platinum oils and Amsoil respectively and have had good results with both. The important thing is to just do your oil changes. Todays vehicles are expensive and if you use high quality oils it’s cheap insurance for adding longevity for your engine.

Ram recommends this oil in their hemi engine. I usually stick to the manufacturer recommended oils. The price on Amazon used to be $70 +,I got it this time for $54.So for 7 quarts was a good price. Better than the dealership.
