Have to agree with everyone else – this stuff is pretty magical. I have yet to see how well it lasts, but I’ll make sure to update this review in a few months.I recently did a basic clean and polish on my daughter’s black Infiniti G35. It’s 8 years old and the black paint was looking a bit gray due to the water stains and the various road/wind/human scratches. Worse, the dealership she bought it from had buffed the paint without claying, which left extreme swirl marks. She loved the car and bought it anyway when I assured her I could get them out (good move – it’s a gem).Well, that was two years ago! I finally got the chance to go at it during a work break, and I washed, clayed, tried the Ultimate Compound, went after scratches with Scratch X, then sealed with this product. Wasn’t too impressed with the Ultimate Compound (too gentle), but this sealer was fantastic. After the prep work the car was looking and feeling pretty good… I wondered whether this sealant would really make much of a diffence. But it truly made a distinct diffence – you could see it clearly when comparing a treated part to a non treated part. Her black paint was richer and blacker, with a depth and wet shine after the sealer. It’s easy to apply (I did it with a DA buffer) and remove (I used high quality microfiber – if you add some elbow grease you get a really deep shine).The car looks new again, and most of the defects are completely gone, including the swirls. The rain etching is still visible, but greatly reduced. Even so, the car looks new again… she saw it parked next to a new black BMW and a new black Acura, and it looked equally new. Can’t ask for more than that… now if it lasts for a few months I’ll be thrilled. I’ll be sue to let you know in the fall.

This right here is great stuff and goes A LONG way.Two applications one after another lasts the entire winter here in salty NYS.I have had the chance to use this for a few years now and have had great success.I have applied it 20x’s to a few different cars and there is still 1/2 bottle left.I apply it every 6mo to keep up on it. Not because it has worn off or the rain isn’t beading, but because it makes it much easier to re-apply without needing to buff residue that has begun to stick to clear coat. With this stuff applied, bird poop and bugs come off with ease.I haven’t had to use quick wax at all and that saves swirl marks on my paint. My car looks like it was freshly waxed every time I wash it.I have applied this to 5 new cars in the past few years. When re-applying, I use Wax cleaner first. If you have a very dirty clear coat with lots of contaminants, I would highly recommend claybar prior to sealing. Your car will look beautiful when done and it will last a long time as well. As for application, I always do by hand. Megiar’s website says use power tool. I think a buffer is not needed. Hand apply, wait 30min-1hr depending on temp and then buff off turning towel regularly. Final buff with clean fresh towel after completed.Here are a few cars I have applied this to with excellent results.

This is a revolutionary product which I am fortunate enough to experience in my lifetime. Those long days of paste wax is over for me once I tried this stuff. I am an amateur detailer, but still keep my cars clean looking fresh every day and I really believe in Meguiars products as they have never let me down and priced so well yet performs almost professionally with a lot of high end products, no fancy marketing, the product works period!!!Onto the product itself, its very easy to apply and remove. Far easier than wax. While applying the product does not get stuck behind edges like wax does, so it makes cleanup a lot better. This stuff also protects better than wax and lasts a lot longer even in between washes, and imo leaves a much glossier mirror shine and slick surface. All in all, it is pretty much a win-win-win situation over paste wax in all conditions, therefore there is no need to wax anymore with this stuff. The instructions state to prep the car by claying the car then applying this stuff which is exactly what I did, no polishes or compounds, very easy to use for any detailer.Until there is another revolutionary product that will replace this, I will continue to use this product during my lifetime.
