This kit saved me a lot of time, and money trying to determine which gaskets to purchase when fixing a coolant leak in my 99 ranger. It was much cheaper that buying the parts separately and included an o-ring for the thermostat that I never would have thought to buy yet I desperately needed as mine was totally shot.Everything fit, and the truck runs better than it has in years. I really couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Nice gasket set, but it did not specify, even when it said it fits my vehicle. This set is specifically for the Ford 4.0 OHV, NOT the SOHC. Good parts, good price, just an inconvenience.

great set for all the other gaskets, metal and rubber construction, but I would not use the actual lower intake manifold gasket for the lower intake. I used the ford one piece version instead. picture shows 8 fuel injector o-rings but the set comes with a full 12 for top and bottom o ring replacement.

I finally broke down and took on the job of replacing Intake manifold gaskets to resolve the Ford p0171 and p0174 DTC(odes). So I started with building a small smoke machine with dry ice. That test didn’t show anything. So I got my big boy pants on and started the Intake Manifold R&R job. This job requires Fastener organization. I use a piece of good stiff cardboard, make a hole, stuff in Bolts, Screws and label (EGR Solenoid, EVAP solenoid etc. Once I removed the Plenum and EGR tube I found the round rubber seal was baked solid and warped and could have been the Issue. After removing the Wiring Harness, I ruined 5 of 6 of lock tabs on Injector Connectors. Removed Fuel Rail, Valve Covers then Intake Manifold.I bought the FelPro gasket set it was totally wrong with Cork Valve Cover gaskets from my Parts Guy. So Ended up looking at every gasket set Amazon had to offer. Upon receiving and inspection it had everything including some Hi-Temp gasket cement which nicely attached the Intake to head Gasket, AND made for a real nice install on the surface area between Cyl. heads front and back. I used RED RTV on the Valve Covers because I been for 40 years. I did not read the INSTRUCTIONS for the Phenolic spacer for fuel rail. Apparently you carefully peel off the 2 outer gaskets which I could not distinguish and just sanded off the rubber seal. Cleaned with Brake Clean and used Permatex RED RTV for install. Since I bought new Injectors, install those in the Fuel rail and manipulate into the intake manifold.SO in Ending MAHLE Original MIS19316 Engine Intake Manifold Gasket Set perfect fit. BUT Does not include the EGR Intale Tube seal which was real hard to find Ford Part F57Z-9J469-AB OEM NEW SEAL SLEEVE
