Just plugged it into the NMEA backbone, attached the lead to the pink wire from the existing fuel tank sending unit, and it worked fine. Initial fuel level read at 88% which agreed with the amount of fuel used by the engine since the gauge was set at 100%. No calibration was needed. Data was instantly recognized by my EVO 3 MFD and the Honda digital gauge.

Had another brand installed that I needed to configure with a sd card. Never got it configured even though the company gave me support. I needed to fill the tank and take a reading then empty the tank and take a reading. THis was a headache.Purchase this device plugged it into the port the other device was in and bam it read the correct reading matching it with the analog gauge. I now have removed the analog gauge and now just use my Simrad IS to handle engine data.

It worked great. Started off with no fuel readout on my new Suzuki engine gauges, Bought a new Raymarine Azxiom 9 display and installed a NMEA 2000 backbone and still no readout on both devices. I found this product and thought this might work. IT WORKED GREAT AND WAS ACCURATE. I remooved the float and sliding the float up and down showed it was accurate on the Ramarine display. Still would not work on the Suzuki Gauges but I found a way to remove that fuel display from the gauges so all is well. Great product.

Just finished installing, very easy hook up. Recently updated my 13 year old dash and electronics on our boat, including this fuel level cable and engine interface cable. So now get all the engine & fuel data I need directly on the MFD. This allowed for the removal of both round Yamaha gauges and clean up the new dash panel.See before and after pics

This allowed me to see my fuel level degital on my monitors. Love it. Still figuring out programming it though.

Works great, the instructions are not easy to understand, but no issues once configured
