We got item and used it right away, worked, did it’s job.. the on and off switch broke after 2 times of using it on/off. Called manufacture and they sending out free replacement for us, first one got lost and they re-sent out again for us at no cost and finally got replacement, and they actually sent us 2. Thank you. customer service was excellent.

I elected to replace my original Shurflo 2.0 gpm water pump on my 2010 Class A Winnebago Adventurer with the Latch.it 5.5 gpm. I liked the reviews and especially the lifetime warranty, which states a lot about a manufacturer (as long as they stay in business).This arrived via Amazon Prime the next day and was well boxed and included all the attachments needed and then some. I was especially impressed by the amount of wiring from the unit to accommodate any type of installation. The base didn’t match up exactly with the 4 pre-drilled holes for the original Shurflo installation but that was an easy remedy. 20 minutes later, done, done and done.Upon testing it out, I was super impressed with the excellent water volume dispersed in all faucets and shower within the coach. This my friends is a winner. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. Excellent product at an excellent price!

I have been using this for a month. Initially great at about 49 to 50 feet over maybe 10 inches of incline. But, the last two times I used it, the motor kept getting slower and slower. Today, it started running very slowly then quit abruptly mid-pump. No one wants to have that mess on their hands. I’ve used the macerator a total of either 10 or 11 times. My process involves running the black tank first (about 26 gallons), then the grey tank, which flushes out all the debris (about 38 gallons of grey tank water). Sometimes I ran fresh water through it after that. Never ran it more than 15 seconds without much water flowing into it. Double checked the battery and connectors. Followed the instructions for removing the end rubber and turning clockwise. That did not do a thing. Blades look to be clear inside. I’ll be contacting the company to see if they can help, but I noticed on their website, OF COURSE, they will not warrantee any purchase off of their website. So, you lucky Amazon shoppers will not get the warrantee! If you’re dead set on this because of all the rip roaring reviews, buy it from their website directly. Then, realize there’s a good chance it will fail on you at some point and you’ll need that warrantee. HAVE A BACKUP PLAN FOR WHEN THIS FAILS! There’s also a chance it will fail fast, though I hope that’s less likely. Good luck – I’m going with a different brand.e

This has made our travel trailer black (and gray) tank so much easier to dump. It works great, is relatively quiet for the work it has to do and gets the job done easy. The only thing that wasn’t easy to find in the instructions online BEFORE we purchased, is that it requires a 1″ hose for discharge. Those are hard to come by. Our installation is about 100 ft. from the conenction to the sewer, so a 1″ hose was very expensive. If I had it all to do over again, I would hard plumb with 1″ pvc pipe rather than hose.Other than that not being very clear (or my not looking hard enough for the information) it’s an excellent product and I look forward to years of use.It works like a charm.

Have inlaws living in my 5th wheel for the summer. I have used it to dump with a 3/4″ 100 foot hose inside the house by putting the hose down the toilet. Pumps with no problem using the house batterys of the fifth wheel. The hose is going up a half flight of stairs(5-6 feet height) into the bathroom. We have dumped all tanks black and gray 4 times and it has worked flawlessly. I do notice the switch in the cord getting warm but it has not failed. I dump black first then the gray tanks and have not had any residue in the pump blades when finished. So it macerates and pumps well. It is actually fairly quiet when running and you hear a distinct tone difference when the pump runs dry so it can be turned off as not to cause pump damage running it dry. I wish i had a sewer clean out in the yard but this has worked just fine so far. (used 4 times in a 2 month period) money well spent.

Powerfully pump that I will recommend any RV or boat owner there want a decent water pressure like at home, Worth every penny, now it’s a pleasure to take a shower, the Sea flow pump I had could never give a descent water pressure, this one could right out of the box, there is a screw to adjust if more water pressure is desired, I did not need any adjustment, also, it’s a lot more quiet than the Sea flow I had, but it could also be the sloppy way that Jayco had mounted the Sea flow, anyways, this new pump reach pressure fast, the Sea flow took forever to get up in pressure and couldn’t handle more than one faucet open at a time, even when not using water ( and no leaks) it eventually turned on as it properly struggled to maintain pressure!

We live in our RV on our farm in east central Kansas while we await the total remodel/reconstruction of our antique farmhouse. Our riser is about two feet above the RV’s sewage outlet, so trying to drain the gray and black water was a dreaded chore. This marvelous device has no problem at all with propelling the waste products up the incline and down the riser and on to the lagoon. We are not young, we are great grandparents many times over, but both my wife and I would whole heartedly endorse and recommend this device without reservation.
