I wish it came in with instructions but I figured out on my own. It holds on better than the OEM splash guard.

Works entirely as intended, only downside that I’ve had so far is that it needs some clearencing for headers and the nuts connecting the two parts may need to be shortened or figure out a way to attach to subframe to reduce noise while driving. But other than minor changes needed for diy when install, the product is great and haven’t had any major issues since installing

Bought for my 06 wrx, its ok but i would have to remove the scuff plate every oil change since it covers the oil pan

Super easy to install! Don’t really need any instructions! Now I can keep less dirt and debris from getting into my engine bay and I can protect my oil pan, oil filter, and other engine components from getting damaged or snagged onto anything

This skid plate is definitely a universal fit, and does NOT bolt right up. In order to fit how your like it to, you’ll need to cut and bang and drill. I needed to cut the rear end of it on each side to clear the subframe on my 2003 Subaru forester. So far, it’s protected my motor from the stones and snow from the road, but note: I would not trust this skid plate to support the weight of the car if you were to beach it up on a boulder. It does its job for the price! I love the vents and oil pan door, works nicely for cooling and maintenance access. Great design

If you’re like me and you don’t have the oem plastic splash shield anymore, this makes a superb replacement. Also NO this isn’t a skid plate, it’s too thin. The kit comes with about 5 big bolts, 9 small bolts, 9 small clips with threads, and washers for every bolts. All 5 big bolts with washers are used and will thread into existing holes. The 2 holes on the rear of the main plate line up with threaded holes on the jack plate (pictured in Yellow). The 3 holes on the front of the main plate will line up with the 3 holes on the rear of the front plate and line up with 3 threaded holes that are on the oem U-frame brace (pictured in Pink). So if you don’t have the U-frame brace or you replaced it with aftermarket, then you will need to find an alternative way to bolt this up together.2 small bolts, washers, and clips are used to close the small oil filter panel.Lastly, I’m not sure if this was entirely the fault of this product or if my front end is pushed back slightly still from fender bender my insurance “repaired” many years ago, but the 7 small holes on the front plate didn’t fall close enough to the rear edge of the front bumper to be able to use the threaded clips, so I just used the washers with some tech screws to screw directly into the plastic.

Works great and fit was perfect. The only thing I noticed is that I can feel more of the engine vibrations. I’m going to install some rubber washers to see if that helps reduce it.
