Product fits perfect, mounting took under 5 minutes for my 2018 JK. Location is excellent, is compatible with my 35 inch mounted spare, and does not threaten the tail light at all. Have driven about 500 miles with it so far, does not make any noise and mount is stable. Highly recommend

This is fairly easy to install but overall it seems like it is a little on the flimsy side just based on how the whole wiggles if you shake it by hand. We’ll see how it holds up.

This was a very straight forward install and I did as one of the other reviewers did and drilled my trim so that the bolts would go through trim piece and I could still use my trim cover. I used some blue lock tight on threads and put silicon around the bolt hole just to be on the safe side that no water could get in and cause rust. This is a super sturdy mount, fit my jack perfectly and once tightened the jack can’t shake or bounce around. I did put a piece of rubber in the base of Jack holder to stop metal to metal rubbing it noise. Well with the money. Been using for several months with lots of rain and it’s not rusting, hasn’t loosened and working perfectly.

Simple instructions, easy to do a basic install. If you want to keep the plastic trim pieces on your Jeep, mark the holes and drill out big enough that the metal spacers will fit through. They stick out just far enough that the jack mount won’t crush the trim pieces. I used a step drill to get the size just right. I haven’t taken it on any rough trails since I mounted it but I grabbed it and tried to get it to rattle or make some kind of noise that might get annoying later and it feels really sturdy. Made out of nice sturdy heavy gage steel.I did cut out a piece of 1/16″ thick rubber to put under the jack, between the jack and the holder, to prevent the paint from eventually rubbing off and making a place for it to rust or rattle.I would definitely recommend this item to anyone looking to mount a farm jack on their jeep.

Holds very securely. It took a little ingenuity for mounting with an aftermarket tire carrier but it works great at a low price.
