YES IT FITS A MINIVAN! 😁 Takes a whole 2 minutes to instal alone. Fits nice and snug, I don’t even have to tie it down, the elastics do the job. Instantly turns my minivan camper into a tent trailer. So much more headspace. Easy to access items in the van or under the bed and you can use it ad an exit. I love sitting at the end of the bed and looking out the back at the vie of the lake. Makes a comfy sitting space away from the bugs. Folds up easily into its carry bag and takes up little space. I also love that there are no poles to loose or break. The awning is so convenient and easy that I don’t even use my $1500 roll out van awning, or my kitchen tent.

I like how quickly one learns how to put in place, easy to adjust for a good fit. The ropes for the over the top installation portion should be longer and ‘s’ hooks would have been great to attach to wipers or rack track. The rope ties for the corner post and stakes are excellent. Easy in and out usage, works great for my needs.

Really –
I bought this from a review on a YouTube channel, not about this specific brand but the idea of a rear tent/awning. It was fairly cheap like $59.00 . This is one of the very few products I have ever bought that ended up way better than I expected. Back from a camping trip in the high desert. Super windy. So windy, my car side awning was pulverized! Yet, this thing was installed in less than 5 minutes without even looking at the instructions. And even with super strong gusts of wind, it never failed and stayed in place the whole time even at night. It really helps with car camping ventilation and providing rear access while keeping bugs, bees and wasps out. One day, lunch time, with the Arizona sun right above the car and zero shade, I was able to use the tailgate shade for my chair while the car is ventilated and stays way cooler. I also use door window nets for true through ventilation.

I received this car tent today and tested it in my garage. It had a slight smell to it so open it up before you use it the first time (dissipated in 24hrs). Material seems reasonably durable and of good quality. However, on my car (2021 Nissan Rogue) the sides and the top do not fully seal even trying various tie down methods etc. — see the first two pics. In fairness part of the issue on the top is my antennae. Not a huge deal unless you are in a mosquito infested area but I’d like the option of a better seal/less space for unwanteds to enter. The solution I came up with (pic 3) was magnets. My little circle magnets get me part way so I’m buying magnet strips to basically attach the tent to the sides/top of my car. If they work I may use adhesive ones to permanently attach them to the tent and avoid worrying about losing. Additionally, from the looks, I think/hope that with magnets I won’t actually need to tie the tent to my car unless it is particularly windy. I would love to see this company ship said 10$ magnets with their product and/or even providing places for the magnets to slide into (that would get them 5 stars!).

This fits my jeep patriot very well! I have used it twice and it has been a perfect tent for just me for quick weekend trips. Easy to assemble and get in and out of. It would be nice if it came with the poles for the canopy instead of the stakes but I have used my own makeshift poles and a canopy.

I had to return another product that claimed (correctly as it turned out) to fit “most” SUVs. I watched a review of this product on the same vehicle as mine and decided to give it a whirl. This one fit perfectly, and was easy to install. I did find that it was easier to install the wheel clips on the inside of the mud flaps first, then slip over the lift gate with the added tension. The Sequoia is a fairly tall vehicle so this helped. The installed tent took less than 5 minutes and was perfect. It even gave the feeling of having more space inside the vehicle. The zippers all worked perfectly and the awning did its job at night. And yes, it all fit back into the stuff sack when removed from the vehicle and now lives permanently in the cargo area.5 stars for sure!
