Super fast shipping! Did a dry fit on my ’08 Sierra crew cab shortbed and discovered I had to loosen up my GM Accessories flush cargo tiedowns in order to have the pockets on the rails line up. After finding that out, the installation was a breeze. Definitely needed a second person to make sure the install went smoothly. The kit comes with snap-in covers to fill in the pockets, and they almost fit over my cargo tiedowns, but not worth the risk of them coming off on the highway, so just stored those for no apparent reason. I was hoping the cutouts would exactly contour the cargo tiedown footprint, but there is a pretty fair sized gap all around. That being said, the rails look fantastic! Really dresses up the truck, and hides the wavy metal that was developing on my bed top. Matches the factory tailgate topper so well, looks factory stock. Sweet accessory, and cheaper than the aftermarket offerings to boot! Wish I would have ordered these long ago. Extremely happy with my “new” truck. THANKS

GM # 17802473 Bed Rail Protectors – Black, 5’8″…Package was received in good shape. Ordered for 2008 Chevy Silverado crew cab with short bed. No trouble applying product but these don’t quite fit the curvature of the rear of the bed, there is a gap but still look ok.
