Good value for what it’s designed to be and what it’s used for, even if not designed for that. Size is enough to fill my bikes tank once, that way I can get back from where I’ve been. It doesn’t leak, even after dumping your bike down a bentonite mud slicked hill. It does smell some after refueling as the spout in stowed under a Velcro flap. But I just ride faster to keep the fumes at bay. Not that bad really. It’s just nice to fill up and then not have 3 gallon volume plastic or metal to deal with. Just roll up and slide in between some straps

I wish I’d known about this before I bought a RotoPax setup, as this is so much better for my application (dual-sport and ADV riding). The fact that it weighs almost nothing and occupies basically no space when empty is the most obvious advantage. It doesn’t require special hardware to mount, and the options for lashing it down are endless. It allows me to double the range of my dual-sport without disrupting the handling or ergonomics of the bike, as a large tank would. It’s a permanent fixture on my bike. Even though it’s most often empty, it means I have an emergency Jerry-can should the need arise (for me or someone else). With no real weight/volume penalty, why not?My only gripe is the color…”hydrocarbon” containers are red by convention, and conventions are best followed when it comes to safety. It’s kinda sketch that GL makes another product (“cactus canteen”) that’s food-safe, not “hydrocarbon”-compatible, but the same color as this. Someone could conceivably mix them up. The greater risk, I think, is that in an accident scenario it’s not going to be obvious to first responders/helpful bystanders as a potential hazard. I can live with it, but it seems like an oversight.

It does as it should, but it wasn’t cheap either. Does have lots of attachment options, but I was hoping top and bottom handles would just slide down my motorcycle sissybar. Bottom one requires a strap which isn’t horrible. Once it’s there it doesn’t move around as the inflated bag actually helps it stay in place. I’ve only mounted it upright. Great option for bike with tiny tank. My only issue is the price seems steep, but as there isn’t anything else like it to compete…this is exactly what I wanted. Very heavy duty outer shell won’t scratch anything and infinite mounting options and it’s easy to fill and empty without spilling. I’d buy it again if it ever gets lost or damaged.

I had a 3000KM trip. This thing was strapped to my back seat of an R1200GS. Webbing made it real easy to secure. Even with the bladder fully loaded it did not budge. I overfilled it a little and noticed it got real bloated in the hot sun. After 200+ KM it did not leak. Very happy with this purchase.

I have used this several times for longer trips on my drz-400. I don’t store fuel in it longer than a few days and have never had any leaks or smells leaching out of it. I empty it after a trip and store it in my garage, don’t even notice it’s there. This bag is heavy duty and will hold up to hard use. I love it

I used on recent motorcycle trip from Alaska to Patagonia. Holds 3 gallons or 12 liters. I usually put 8 liters and used twice to refill when I needed. Swells up in altitude, I was concerned it would rupture when I went over Paso de Jama at 16,000 feet but it held. I rolled and stored on the bike much better than carrying hard cans.

These are not approved for carrying gasoline in the U.S., but they work well for that purpose in other countries. Many times, I’ve started out on my dirt bike with a full tank and gotten home on fumes, so I bought this Armadillo bag. If I were to fill it with gasoline, it would greatly extend my range, and I wouldn’t worry about running out of fuel. Of course, I would never do that, because it’s against the law to dispense gasoline into a non-approved container, but theoretically, I feel a lot more confident knowing that I theoretically have an extra gallon of gasoline with me.It straps to the seat securely, and takes up little space. It’s easy to fill, I just hang it from the handlebar and fill it from the gas pump (theoretically, of course). Once it’s empty, it folds up and fits in a saddlebag, taking up almost no space. It’s built robustly, it’s never leaked, and the spout actually works for dispensing the liquid into the dirt bike’s tank without getting gas all over my hands. (That’s actually unusual, most spouts seem deliberately designed to get gasoline all over one’s hands.) Theoretically, it’s just about the perfect way to carry gasoline. It probably works well for other fluids, too.

I ordered this to take along on our 4000 mile adventure bike road trip that my wife and I took on our honeymoon. My Honda Africa Twin carries a hefty amount of fuel on its own, plus a Rotopax. The extra 2 gallons offered with this system gave my wife a real piece of mind on her KTM 390 Adventure, which only carries 3 gallons of fuel on its own. We carried it around full of fuel for several weeks, all over the western United States, and never once had an issue. This product is very sturdily made, and you will not be disappointed!
