This was the correct part to seal the oil ports between the blocks together and the oil pump to the block of my EJ25.

Fixed an annoying oil leak from the front crankshaft oil seal. The seal is in the oil pump housing behind the crankshaft timing sprocket. If you are fixing an oil leak in this location it’s a good time to replace the timing belt and componets like the water pump that come in a timing belt component kit. I used the Gates kit. The front crankshaft oil seal is pretty easy to remove once the timing sprocket is removed. I didn’t have to remove the oil pump. I carefully punched a hole in the front of the seal near the outer edge with a pick. I enlarged the hole with a small straight slot screw driver. I was able to remove the seal with the screw driver without touching the bearing or side of the bore the seal is installed in. Smear some synthetic grease on the crankshaft and inner surface of the new seal then press it in. If you can replace your timing belt replacing this seal is easy.
