It took about a half hour to replace. Mostly because of removing trim pieces. This was exactly like the factory one on my 2016 Tucson limited with auto controls. The image on Amazon varies slightly as the one received is completely tan color like the factory. I rest the battery and everything worked as original.

I’M A MECHANIC… FITS PERFECTLY…. WORKED FIRST TIME…. DEALERSHIP SAID HAD TO REMOVE DASH AND WOULD COST $1500. LAY ON YOUR BACK AND LOOK UP…YOU WILL SEE IT. TRICKY GETTING SCREWS OUT, NEED SMALL AND SHORT TO SUCCEED. I STUCK 3 OUT OF 4 BACK IN TO MAKE LIFE EASIER.

Well, I went through a winter here in Canada with hit and miss heat. Heating door actuator motor failure, dealership wanted 300+ to replace maybe in July or sooner for a grand at another shop. Amazon amazing and this company had the OEM exactly fit part for half the part cost and 0 install since its pretty much plug and play. Many thanks to this company for providing OEM parts at a much-appreciated savings. I saved $300 buying from Amazon and with some patience and contortion easily removed three screws and replaced this OEM part, Works as expected and I used the 300 I saved to pay off my TD visa balance. A win is a win. FYI one screw seems hidden behind my Tucson’s vent but it comes out easily using a Phillips on an angle and you don’t need to buy a six-dollar screw from the shop either, the screws that come out go back in but take your time as they go into plastic threaded mounts. This was a win for me, I did appreciate the dealership and shop being there for me and if it was still min 21, I’d probably have paid the full amount including installation but for those who are born to be a DIY kind of guy this was a win.

Works perfectly as replacement for driver side 97157-3T000 blend door actuator. Out of nowhere I was only getting hot air out of the driver side vents. Resetting battery did not fix. Replacing the actuator with this item immediately solved the problem. Cool air once again!

The one I got was all cream color not like the display but it still worked perfectly fine. Also was a different last number but it worked. My AC was only blowing cold now it blows warm and cold. I have a 2016 and it was on the the driver side under the center console. Acouple of plastic trim and black air vent needs to be removed to get to all the 4 blots.

The driver side was only receiving hot air, while the passenger side received the A/C air. Under the driver side there is an actuator that controls the cold/hot air. You need to remove the panels and a vent shroud. Took about an hour, but now all the right air temps. are now in the right vents. Good OEM part.

OEM it works the heater of my car aircon is working now. Easy fix I do it myself. I save 400 dollars going to a dealer.
