The material is heavy duty so it will protect your expensive leather if you need to carry boxes or other items that may cause wear and tear. If you have a new sedan like me, the extra straps are useless. Modern cars have the rear bench molded into the interior. I use the head rest straps to hold up the seat cover and that is about it. But I don’t intent to carry people. I would expect for SUVs and perhaps older vehicles the straps would work better. The size is perfect for a mid-size to smaller vehicle. It barely covers my rear seat and my car is mid-sized. The scent is interesting. The cover has a heavy petroleum solvent pistachio scent. I like it as it gives you a new car type smell. But mothers with young children or some pet owners may want to air the cover out for a few weeks. I can carry my rifle cases on the rear seat and not worry about scuffs and tears. Plus if I want to impress the cover comes out in seconds. For the money it does what I want. If I want tailored seat covers, they don’t make them for my car.

These were used on the Captain Chairs (2nd row) for a 2020 Ascent. After installation they present an acceptable image but the thickness and durability makes us question if they will be able to withstand a 27lb terrier’s claw paws. Installation was NOT easy or quick. The installation instructions were lacking but after an intense effort we were able to get them in place by carefully re-examining what we had done so that eventually we could get the Velcro straps to meet in the back.TIPS:—-Do NOT cover the arm rests or the seat belt connection or the seat adjustment levers. If you cover them you use up the small bit of slack and then there is not enough material to withstand the strain, and they will rip soon as a couple of buyers here learned and probably do not know why their money was wasted.—- Keep working to slip the cover material under anything you encounter that is NOT part of the back or seat. In the middle of the flat part of the seat cover you will feel a soft short cylindrical roll. Push that through the folding part of the seat so that it is behind the seat. It prevents the cover from moving and keeps it flat. Your Velcro straps should also be threaded between the seatback and the seat so that the two sides meet with sufficient overlap for the straps to keep it secure.

I ordered this hoping that the brand would be as durable as the pants and coveralls that I like. It wasn’t. I bought this for my work truck, a Nissan Ganley NV2500. It fit pretty poorly, but I didn’t expect it to fit well. “One size fits all” means “this size fits none well”. What was disappointing was that the cover worked it way loose every day, sometimes several times a day. More disappointing than that was the fact that I installed the seat cover on 29 July 2021. Today is 20 August 2021. It’s ripping apart at the seams along the head rest. I’m writing this review to suggest that no one make the mistake I made. I skimped and received a poor product. Dickies makes pretty good pants and coveralls. Seat covers? Give this one a pass. Throw down the $100 for a Wet Okole seat cover. Sure, it costs four times more, but it will last many times longer. I bought a set of Wet Okoles for my Jeep…. in 2013. They’re still in great shape after eight years.

I am using this in my Subaru Forester in a backseat that has a diono carseat and a diono booster. It’s not a perfect custom made cover, but for $25 I’m not sure what some other reviewers are expecting… The fabric feels sturdy. It has a few wrinkles/bumps from not being a custom fit, but that looks miles better than my kids completely destroying the backseat. I didn’t need to cut any holes for the booster to connect to the latch points, but on the car seat side, I did cut one hole to reach the latch. The openings for the seatbelts are several inches wide, so there was enough room for 3/4 latch points to fit without cutting anything. It has elastic straps that hold it in place. Overall, I’m glad I purchased it and I think it will protect my backseat. I will update this review if my opinion changes over time.

Trader high back seat covers fit great in my 05’ Kodiak. Have to be slightly careful pulling the back portion down over the seat as to not tear the seam. Once on they are comfortable, durable and a good fit considering they are universal.
