I was skeptical when I opened the box and took the wedge cushion out. It felt extremely firm and wondered how that would make it therapeutic and comfortable at the same time.I bought as a gift for my wife for her new car. She is only 5’2″ and got a Nissan Versa. She likes seeing over the hood and was using a regular couch cushion to sit on. This was not good for her back or sciatic.Premium Therapeutic Grade Car Wedge Cushion did the job for her as soon as she used it. She absolutely LOVES IT!The 3″ height is a perfect lift she needed and her little tush is very comfortable.The firmness keeps her hips level. She also feels like her posture is more straight up and not slouching while driving.I had to take the test myself. I’m also very short. I drove her car with the Wedge Cushion and YES, it was very comfortable!I am seriously thinking of getting one for my Jeep Wrangler now!I definitely would recommend this to anyone

My first few days – it looks it does the job very well! What helped me a lot (as opposed to some other similar products on the market), there were the dimensions given in the description so I knew it would fit into my car bucket seat slot 🙂 It is hard yet comfortable, no slipping, it stays steadily stuck on your seat in spite of your body moving forward occasionally, it i s just as high as it should be – you nearly don’t need to re-set the height of your seat, yet it takes your hips just right higher that the lifted edges of the uncomfortable (and painful!) edges of the car seat. I’m just hoping it will stay as it is with the time and won’t “fall down”.

I’m a small woman, 5’3″, and I just bought a new Prius with no electronic seat adjustments. I needed a boost to help with visibility and this cushion had the dimensions and color I wanted. Before purchasing the cushion I asked the forum for advice and was lucky to receive several responses (thank you to all Amazon customers who helped me!!!). Upon reading responses from other short drivers I decided to purchase the cushion. I’m super happy! The cushion gives me enough boost to see over the hood. It is comfortable, well made and it does not slip thanks to a non-slip material on the bottom. It also matches the gray interior in my Prius and it is a perfect fit for the bucket seat. I would recommend this product for the Prius.

I think this is going to work out for me. It definitely accomplishes raising my view in my SUV (I’m 5’2″) and I think once it is familiar with the center of my bucket seat, it sit more evenly. (Like others, it’s a little wide for my car’s seat, but everyone says that will simmer down.) It seems very well made, the materials feel good, and it’s attractive. The memory foam is just right — it does not squish down to “nothing.” Although my theory that it would stop my knee from aching while driving is unproven, the pillow does work as advertised. Service is predictable (they meet their deadlines) and they’re conscientious about caring about the cust. experience. I like them AND their pillow.
The Goat –
This is a bit tough, but, for what I needed it for I had to dink it a couple of stars…read on….I bought this for a company car I was given to use. The problem is the more I drive it, my hip gets sore. I am normal size and height and do not have issues with my personal cars. So I originally folded a bath towel to see how it would do….much better so then I looked for a seat cushion that would do the job better….and I found it…sort of…It is firm and does make me sit a bit higher as I knew it would but after 2-3 days with it, all discomfort disappeared. So at that point 5-stars…then that fateful night it was 38-degrees outside and the car does sit outside…and that is where I knock two stars off…it was as hard as a brick in the morning. Took a good 15-20 min to start to confirm as normal and was fine from there, but it seems as though the material inside is greatly affected by temperature.Mine also did not have any straps but has grip dots and it does stay put without issue and I prefer that since I have to take it indoors with me daily.So unfortunately I really like it and will have to drag it in the house every night so it stays pliable and ready to go in the morning….this will be for 6-months straight until late spring.In the end I am going to keep it. It has alleviated all discomfort and it fits in the seat really well plus the color is close to the seat color so it doesn’t stand out.

Great product to counteract the backward slope of most car seats and boost the height of the driver to safer height with better visibility. It allows the thigh bones to extend from the hips in an oblique downward sloping angle rather the V shape created by the backward slope of the seat. Much more comfortable than other seat wedges that I have tried. After using it for just over a day ( + by the companion lumbar support cushion), I’m having a bit of trouble adjusting the seat cushion in conjunction with the lumbar support. I’ve been just shoving each of them into place while sitting on the. I am sure that this will work itself out in time with adjustments to the height of the back support and an occasional nudge on the seat cushion. It would be nice were there some kind of Velcro strip arrangement to stick the things in place. I am short (5’1″ rounding up), and I drive a low-slung car (Prius), so this product is perfect for getting me up to a height that provides more visibility and better leg to pedal length. i hope its depth lasts longer than other seat seat wedges I have tried. (I invested in this more expensive product with that hope in mind.)

Das Kissen ist seine Investition wert! Der nach hinten abfallende Autositz wird dadurch angeglichen (trotz anderer Rezensionen habe ich keine Probleme, was die Sitzfläche angeht) und auch am Esstisch oder auf dem Bürostuhl entlastet er sehr. Ich wechsle zwischendrin immer, damit die Fläche nicht zu stark eingedellt wird. Dann klappt es sehr gut.

This is a great cushion, it’s not just a soft foam pad that squishes down when you sit on it. It’s not too firm, and not too soft. It conforms to your shape nicely. It does get more firm in cold weather, but “softens” up after a few minutes of sitting on it. It has helped with lower back pain and also flattening out these darn bucket seats (how is it healthy for anyone to sit like that?!) I’m sensitive to chemicals and smells and there was ZERO odor to this cushion (unlike many memory foam products). 5 stars.I’d give six stars for 1 or 2 more inches of lift! Seriously, car seats nowadays are designed and tested for comfort, but most people in this age are comfortable in this neck-forward straight lumbar position because of computers and smartphones making our posture unhealthy.
