    It fixed the problem for now. The last one I bought from Amazon, different brand, lasted a little over a year. There are several regulators on Amazon, starting at around $12.00, they all look identical. I bought this one because it appears to have a better warranty. It is made in Argentina, better than China in my opinion.

    Fit my 2003 sportsman 700 just like the original. Works perfectly holds a steady voltage of 13.3 well within limits.
