DID’s new Dirt Star rims are designed for world class Supercross, Motocross and Enduro Racing. They are available for the following manufacturers’ top race models; KTM, Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha. Dirt Star rims are compatible with these manufacturers’ OEM component parts. DID’s LT-X SX/MX model is ultra lightweight while maintaining the same strength. The LT-X is available in black or silver. For Enduro and Desert Racers where strength is mandatory, DID’s ST-X is 15 percent stronger than the LT-X but only a fraction heavier. The ST-X is available in black only. Both rims utilize the special “7 series” aluminum. I had to drill out the spoke holes to 11/32 in order to clear the excel notako nipples I used, but the rim is of great quality and laced up and trued it with ease.

It fit my ’74 DT250 Yamaha. Just used old spokes and hub, it laced up and trued good. Finally a straight rim to replace the stock steel hoop.
