This plate, machined out of 1/8″ 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum, will allow you to repair the door and reinforce the door latch area without body work. In addition to the three stock bolt locations there are an additional 3 holes for screws or rivets for further reinforcement. Comes with replacements for the stock bolts.

I cannot believe how simple it was to install the repair plate. Its such an easy install and it actually fixed my door. I will be buying the other side now along with another set for my other XJ. GREAT PRODUCT AND ITS MADE IN THE U.S.A.!

Chris and CS Works you are a genius and lifesaver. My door pins have been sagging and two days before I planned on fixing they caused my door to get ripped bad by latch. I searched google on how to repair ideas and found this product. It installed in under 20 min hardest part was pulling it close enough for stock bolts to catch but I got it. I’m going to unscrew one at a time and add a little thread lock to stock bolts just to be safe. Wow my xj door never opened and closed so smooth. I am sharing my experience with a jeep group I belong to. Thanks Chris.

This installation was easy enough. All you need to do is remove the 3 screws holding the latch mechanism to the door, and screw this plate on. Works flawlessly and now I don’t need to replace my entire door

My 99 XJs door was torn up, which wouldn’t hold the 3 torq bolts connected to the lock, which in return didn’t allow my door to close and I had to literally tie it closed. Bought this, fits great, works great. No complaints.

This product is awesome if u take off ur doors and aren’t using the stock pins. My doors were all chewed up. This saves me from a tetanus shot!! 😆

I’ve used these on four or five different XJs and ZJs as a preservation tool to keep the latches as intact as possible. Can’t say enough good things about them! Fit is spot on and they’re great either as a preventive measure or as a repair for a latch that’s eating itself. 10/10
