It’s too weak and flimsy once wet and in all honesty is only useful for washing the roof of my truck. The head flops around like a wet noodle and is impossible to navigate the thing anywhere when washing the side of the vehicle. The microfiber cloth isn’t quite big enough either so you’d better be careful or you will scratch your vehicle. It’s definitely not worth the money.Surprisingly bad from a company as reputable as Chemical Guys.

I bought this mop to wash my 5th wheel trailer. I had a years worth of exposure to a very wet winter on the rig and this mop helped to get it clean. I wish there was a sponge under the mop head to get help it into irregular surfaces, a modification I’ll play with. The pole could be longer, like extendable to 8 feet. Other than those issues this is a great product. The mop base swivels in all directions and takes some mental acuity to manipulate, but after a brief learning curve; it worked great on the flat surfaces of my rig. Not so great on the curved surfaces of my truck, but doing the roof and tonneau cover was a breeze without a step ladder.

Overall this appears to be a well constructed product with quality materials. Unfortunately, however, it did not meet my usage needs as it will not fit within a typical 5 gallon bucket (brush is too wide.) I will return this and continue shopping for a similar quality product more suited to my needs.

I have been through the “Vehicle Cleaning Kit” scenario before, you know the “Circle Head” cloth on the plastic “Disc” that always falls off or the cinch string breaks and the terry cloth wash pad falls off; Well……… not this one, Chemical guys made a quality piece, and the handle is quality aluminum, not the “beer can” thick aluminum as the other guys. The 18″w Chenille Microfiber Car Wash Mopwide pad works well and is a quality pad, and has a velcro closure and a hanging tab.

Needed this for waterless carwash for our RV. The reach wasn’t quite long enough to reach the top but our main complaint is the hinge on the mop head. It rotated awkwardly so I couldn’t get a straight swipe up and down. The mop head kept wanting to rotate vertical. Great idea but not that easy to use.

I bought this car wash mop to replace another highly rated mop that had failed. This mop covers a large area. The only issues I had was the entire mop does not fit in the large 5 gal bucket I use. I had to dip opposite sides in at a time.

I love to keep the car clean and I am a huge fan of chemical guys products. I was very disappointed to open this package to find a broken rod and a leaking bottle of wash.
