The Stake Pocket 1/2 Inch Forged D-Ring with 2-1/2 Inch I.D. from Buyers Products can be quickly drop-mounted into a stake body pocket as an anchor point for chains or straps. It features a sturdy, forged steel 1/2 in. D-ring with a 2-1/2 inch internal diameter, a black powder-coated finish, and a hitch pin with cotter. It fits conveniently in common flush and outside stake body pockets. D-rings are not approved for overhead use.

bought these for a car hauler trailer, they work really well for the jay hooks on tie down straps, very handy to have.

I ordered four of these for my utility trailer. They arrived individually bagged in one box and all four were rusting in their bags and covered in corrosion dust. As other reviewers have stated, they are definitely not powder coated as advertised. They are painted and appear to have not been primed as I can see corrosion forming under the paint and pushing it up to flake off. This is new out of the bag – I haven’t even used them yet. My trailer has short stake pockets and these pull up about 1-1/2″ until the pin locks against the bottom of the stake pocket. They could use another set of pin holes above the shortest setting.Besides these gripes, these are the best stake pocket D-Rings I have seen on Amazon. The welds look great, the D-rings are quality, and even the pins and hairpins are quality parts. Despite the fact that I will have to sandblast, prime, and paint these before too long, I would buy them again.Before I bought these, I ordered a set of the “Mytee” brand units and they have ridiculously large 5/8″ D-rings and the welded straps fit excessively sloppy around the D-rings and would have made my trailer sound like a rolling pile of garbage riding down the road unloaded. The straps on these Buyers units fit around the D-rings nicely.

This fit the stake pockets on my 2022 PJ Utility Trailer (16′ w/Ready-Rail system). There is a little more side clearance in the stake pockets than I prefer, but it works well for my UTV. This is also the same D-ring for stake pockets that is sold on the PJ Trailer Parts website.*Note – This fits the 3-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ (ID) stake pockets. Not the PJ specific “ready-rail” pockets, which are smaller.

Bought Vulcan chains and binders and first chose the Vulcan stake D-Ring. If your application is a Big Tex then Vulcan, andSeveral others, won’t fit as they are too wide as primarily for a tractor / trailer stake slot. These for perfectly on my 10pi and the loop pins are rock solid and a nice touch.
