I really like the design of the product and I like how easy it is to use but once you get up to the bigger rivet gun adapter fittings in the kit it’s almost impossible to hold that adapter and still spin it to pop the bigger rivets even with a channel lock plier set on the end of it it was still very difficult holding it with the bigger sizes

I have to say this tool impressed me. It made quick work of some 8mm rivets. Solid pull and snap! Only used once so far….

I needed a rivet tool for a 1/4 rivet. Most basic hand rivet tools don’t go this large. I ordered a manual one that worked for 4 rivets, but that manual one’s nose wasn’t long enough to work on the last two rivets and not interfere with the surrounding structure. I used this tool because it could go further and didn’t have a set of handles that got in the way. I don’t like the lack of feel that is part of the design, but it did work. It doesn’t seem cheap, but I only used it for two rivets. It will likely sit a long time before my next use and thus I cannot tell how rugged it actually is.

The riveting adapter for cordless drills, comes with the use directions. The problem is…it does not explain how to set it up! Thought I had it set up correctly, pulled the trigger and the rivet leg was jambed inside the gripper jaws. It would not release the leg. The entire adapter comes apart (use caution and clean flat space to work on it if needed. Do not use the head with the same sized hole for the rivet leg… use the next larger hole. This will allow the adapter to release the leg properly after it comes off the rivet. Once it was figured out and set up right, IT WORKED PERFECTLY!! I recommend this product. I am using mine now daily.

I’ve used this rivet extension around 20-30 times so far and it’s been amazing! The mobility you get with cordless power tools and the accessories that compliment them are priceless in a professional capacity. This is a “gateway” accessory until I can afford to buy a dedicated rivet gun by the big “M” brand.

No longer breaks off rivets, does about half the rivet and gets stuck. It will ruin whatever you are using it for, which is worth more than the attachment. Honestly junk, I would give it zero stars if possible to help others stay away.
