honda pilot black edition. Start the engine after 5 minutes installation and auto idle is already off in the dashboard without pressing the auto idle off switch. Turn off and then turn on engine for test, auto idle is still off. The product works.

Works well to stop auto stop function during higher heat or lower Cold temps and enables the climate control to work. It also allows returning to auto stop in heavy traffic. Included instructions not great. You tube provided great video to enable quick, easy install. Honda needed to reverse the auto stop button function and this would not be necessary.

So far so good. Took less than 10 minutes to install under the console of my 2021 passport. The trim tool sent is unnecessary, grab the back of the console with the storage box open and lift. Look at the connectors first so you know where to squeeze to release from the console switch. Plug the device in exactly how you removed the factory connector, plug the factory connector into this device and you are done. I have always hated this “feature” on new cars, this takes it out of the picture without completely deleting.

I watched a few YouTube videos on installation that looked to be something I could attempt so I bought one. Once I started to instal the item I quickly discovered that this product must be a newer version with easier instal. In my case I reviewed the install on Amazon which were simple. Once I realized this instal took about 5 minutes and the product works great.

This unit is completely plug and play. You must remove the wireless charger (if you have one) and also remove the shifter panel to get to the auto stop start plug. Best to use a trim tool to avoid breaking any clips. With removal of the panel and pluging in the inverter, this took about 10min. It has worked flawlessly so far and i love it! This unit isn’t a full override but an inverter, start up the car and auto stop start is off by default. If you want to occasionally use the system, just press the button to turn it on. All in all I give this 5 stars 🌟

Plug and Play. No tools needed, and no permanent changes to the vehicle. It doesn’t interfere with any other systems either. You can still turn the stop/start back on manually if you want, but now the default is off, which is exactly what I wanted.If you hate the auto stop/start “feature” as much as I do, this is a simple, clean fix.
