Is the hydrant easy to install?
Yes, Aquor Hydrants have a similar install process to other inlets and valves. You just need access to your plumbing and some tools. The product comes with mounting screws and typically takes about an hour to install. Reach out for issues.
-
Where can I install my hydrant?
The RV City Water Inlet is ideal for campers, RVs, overland vehicles, storage tanks, and more. The ultimate solution for a fill valve or washdown. Install anywhere as an inlet or an outlet, horizontally or vertically, even upside down.
-
How does it work?
Align the 3 grooves on the connector with the nibs on the hydrant. Gently push in, then turn clockwise to connect. This opens the valve and water flow starts instantly. When you disconnect, the hydrant will drain to protect against freezing.
-
Can I leave my hydrant connected year round?
Its best to unplug your connector from the hydrant after use, especially during the colder months to ensure proper drainage. You can leave your connector attached to your hose, just be sure to depressurize your hose before storing.
-
Will my hydrant need regular maintenance?
No, Aquor Hydrants use water pressure to seal and keep their valve closed. The elimination of a standard rotating valve prevents excess wear and tear, resulting in a longer lasting hydrant that doesn’t need additional maintenance.

These appear to be a quality item. I bought them so I could use it as a city water connection as well as an outdoor source with the tank and pump in my tiny camper.
