Followed a YouTube video of how to use this properly and it eats the carbon build up so well it plugged the cats. Perfect option for carbon clean up

I used this on two vehicles (two separate cans) today: 2010 Chevy Suburban 5.3l with 235,000 miles and a 2015 Buick Enclave 3.6l with 124,000. The 5.3 smoked a little bit, but it recently had a professional induction cleaning, so I didn’t expect it to smoke much. Even still, after today’s cleaning, it idles much smoother. Now, I don’t think the 3.6l has ever had an intake cleaning, and it’s got direct injection…that thing smoked like crazy for nearly 25 minutes of idling. It was so bad that I will likely clean it a second time. I can’t say whether MPG has improved, but the 3.6l sounds much better. While doing this is not hard (usually just requires a screw driver to remove the air cleaner from the intake), it is not for the faint of heart. Your engine will sputter, choke, and probably backfire as you force this spray down its throat. Still, I’m now a believer and will use this stuff once a year on all of my cars.

Toss us the second time I’ve done this on my 2014 Silverado. It really seems to burn off that carbon when you finish the process.

Have a 2002 Hyundai Accent that for the past 4 or 5 years, has just been chugging oil like it’s going out of style. Tried this two months ago not expecting anything. Removed the spark plugs and absolutely soaked the pistons all day. Sucked out remaining residue before reassembling engine. Ran it to blow out any remaining stuff. Like Seafoam, the exhaust billows smoke and takes a bit to clean out. Drained, replaced oil and drove on. Well two months later, the oil level is still full! Last several oil changes before, I’d get maybe 3-4 weeks max before the oil was low again. Absolutely amazed how great it worked. Of course results may vary and others may not get as lucky as me. But for fellow Hyundai owners, it’s worth trying.

I used this on my 2008 Chevy 4.8 and it most definitely helps acceleration and speed.

I spent 100s of dollars trying to fix a misfire on my 97 jeep tj with no luck. I was getting discouraged and I saw a video on YouTube of a guy using mopar brand combustion chamber cleaner. I was unable to find it so I bought this and it was quite a bit cheaper. Please save yourself the stress I went through and buy this first. It’s simple to use. You disconnect the breather and spray directly into the throttle body while engine is running. If it stalls restart. Once the can is empty shut off and let it soak for 15 minutes then restart. Do this outside as there will be a lot of smoke. Once smoke clears take it for a drive.

I really like this product because it made the car smoke, so I kinda know it did something.

The best throttle cleaner for GM. Too bad it’s been discontinued in spray can
