I received this car cover a couple days ago and was excited to try it out. Unfortunately it has been raining here for the past two days. But today the sun is out and I finally got to open up this package. First of all, the packaging of this car cover is very bad and ugly. It’s just some plastic bag vacuum sealed and with clear tape all over it. The tape has discolored to yellow so that means this has been in the warehouse or storage for a long time. However after opening and inspecting it, it has no damages and is actually quite nice. It is heavy with a waterproof nylon plastic for the outside and soft cotton fibers on the under layer. The edges have a tightening band to help it hold onto the Jeep after it is installed. The front, rear, and side mirror pockets also have a fluorescent yellow strip stitched on for nigh time light reflection (if you were to park on the street). It also comes with a nylon plastic storage bag and a couple nylon plastic straps to tie down the cover (under the Jeep) for situations of high wind. It is actually better than my last car cover which disintegrated from sun damage and there was no soft cotton layer for the underside. The heavy weight from the nylon+cotton fibers make this feel sturdy and higher quality. When first seeing the packing out of the Amazon box, I was thinking this would be a 2-3 Star product. But after inspection and trying it out and comparing with my prior car cover, this is definitely a 5 Star product. I just wish the packing presentation was prettier.

This item fit if you have nothing additional to your vehicle. Crossbar is okay since it does not cause the car shape to vary much. But I have a cargo box and a bike rack on the roof of my vehicle and this car cover does not account for that. I try without the cargo box but the bike rack (for one bike) still cause the cover to “barely fit”. Quality feels great! Everything on description describes the item. One star taken away because I do not think the description states “OEM” or anything to do with vehicle need to be in “original manufacture state”. Sorry I was disappointed and was thinking of ways to make this fit and forgot to take photos. Plus do not want to take things off to show the fitting.

Using this on our 2014 JKU and it has worked out really well. Fit is spot on and fully covers the Jeep from top to bottom with room to spare around the tires. The material feels tough and has held up through some pretty heavy rain and strong sun without any signs of wear so far. It goes on easily and the straps keep it secure even on windy days which was something I was a little concerned about. I also like that it comes with a storage bag since that makes it easier to stash when not in use. It has already done a great job keeping dust and pollen off during the spring and I expect it will be just as helpful when fall rolls around. This has been a nice way to keep the Jeep protected without having to worry about a garage or carport and I am glad I went with this particular cover.
