Goober sez, I have a 1977 1ton truck that broke the drive shaft, I went to the junk yard in search of a used one and luckily found ONE the correct length, but it came out of an 80s 3/4ton truck. I thought it was a score until I realized the U joints are different. This is where the crossover U joint comes into the picture, it made the whole assembly fit together.This part looks like a decent stock replacement. I don’t know if it’s forged steel but I intend to treat it like it’s cast iron because I don’t want to risk breaking another driveshaft and having to buy it new. Correct snap rings are included.It fit just like it should and got my truck back on the road.I Hope My Review And Pictures Were Helpful To You !!!
