Power Driven Diesel has developed the 47RE Transmission Cooler Line Replacement Kit to resolve the common issue of leaking or damaged factory transmission cooler lines. Our kit includes all the necessary fittings and hose to completely replace the factory steel lines with new 1/2″ ID cooler lines. The factory routing is maintained, starting at the transmission, then to the heat exchanger on the passenger side of the engine, then forward to the factory air to oil cooler in front of the radiator, and back to the transmission. Premium rubber-coated line clamps enable a clean and secure installation. We have updated the kit to include an adapter which accommodates non-standard ports on aftermarket 89-02 heat exchangers. Additionally, the fittings without hose are now available in kits for applications where cooler circuit components have been added, relocated or removed. This transmission hose is proudly made in the USA and rated for 300° F and 300 psi, the perfect hose for replacement transmission cooler lines. We have logged 100k miles over the course of 5 years on this same hose without incident on a hot rod Cummins tow rig with a built transmission. It truly is the best hose we’ve ever found for transmission cooler line usage. Additionally, we have also made the line available by the foot for custom applications. We have found most commonly-available hose to fall short when it comes to transmission cooling lines. If you use whatever hose your local auto parts store has, chances are it will fail within a couple years!

Super heavy duty transmission hoses, they are thick! High quality fittings as well! Use heat, and oil when slipping on fittings! There is no other way to get them on without it. My first lines I spent almost 45 mins trying to push together before heating them and getting them done in a couple minutes. Good company to work with and fast shipping!

After reading many reviews about kits like this we chose this kit. It was the perfect solution for rusted 48RE transmission lines. The hose and fittings in the picture looked familiar to me and was even better in person. The hose was Continental brand, high quality and strong. All the fittings worked well, we did use better clamps on the 2 plastic push-locks. The kit worked well, was easier to install and way less expensive than trying to replace the steel lines!
