Honestly Speaking –
Most cars nowadays have USB-A ports now or at least a cigarette lighter port where you can plug in a phone charger, etc. But sometimes you have items that have a standard plug and you need them on the road. Like when I was a traveling design professional and I had both a laptop and a printer with me, a standard AC outlet would have been so handy! Or, when we were evacuating from a hurricane recently, we brought things with us that had standard plugs on them and needed a place to plug them in.So that’s why I got this 300-watt power inverter. I can plug it right into the cigarette lighter port in my car and use the car’s battery to power the inverter. This compact little block will convert the energy from my car battery’s 12 volts to standard 110 volts like we use in our homes. There are two standard AC sockets on the end as well as two USB-A ports.I can then plug in anything into the inverter that uses 300 watts or less. This includes phones, tablets, laptops, DVD players, personal blenders, lights and fans, etc. However, most items that have heating elements such as tea kettles or little microwaves would be well over 300 watts and couldn’t be used with this. Just make sure you check the wattage usage on your products before you plan to use them with this inverter.I’m really happy with this inverter. It is well constructed and made of quality materials such as the metal casing around it. There is a cooling fan within it to keep it from overheating when in use. I have peace of mind knowing it has a built-in fuse and protection against overheating, over voltage, overload, and short circuit. It’s an excellent product to keep in the car for daily commutes, road trips, or emergencies.

Nice compact inverter with 2 AC 120V outlets and two USB 2A outlets. It only came with the 12V DC cigarette lighter plug, no battery clips, to get power. Be very careful what to try to power with this product because the cigarette plug has a 40A fuse installed in it. Most car cigarette lighter sockets are only wired with a 10-20A fuse. I blew one within seconds of powering on a 260 Watt device. It really needs battery clips for the higher power draws. It’s also a good idea to know if your cigarette outlet is always on or powered on with your key. I have one of each in my Jeep and this device will run down your battery pretty quick if it’s left powered on and the engine isn’t running. I did like that it has a internal fan to help it stay cool, but make sure you keep the vent openings clear or the inverter will overheat and shut off. I tried having the inverter weaged between my passenger seat and the center console in my Jeep and it did get very hot. I adjusted it’s alignment so it could draw from fresh air and the temperature came way down. It was also nice having two extra USB outlets to use. They are always being used especially when others are with me.

Well it’s a pretty basic setup easy to use you just plug it into your cigarette lighter in the car and you’re good to go.I got it mainly for when we go camping so we have the outlets for either charging her phones, what you have two inputs to do that USB ports and then we have the two regular plugins so like if we want to use our air pump to fill up the air mattresses or if we want to plug in a radio or whatever else we might be able to plug into it it’s 300 watts so there’s a lot of items household items that you can bring with you and save your camping or whatever that you can plug into it to use.It works just fine it wasn’t overheating or anything it didn’t get hot I’ve used some of these in the past and they’ve gotten hot this one to not do that it’s perfect it’s perfect to have in the car again in case you need to charge your phone or you need to plug something in or maybe you’re a traveling DJ and you need the outlet to plug in your system you have that option let me do so many things you can do with it besides plug in your phone that’s the handiness of the two outlets regular plug outlets.I like it I’d recommend it especially if you’re a camper or just have an Andy in the car in case you do need to charge your phone or just having a need to plug something in maybe that runs off 110. It’s well worth it it’s a great value.

I got this for my car because we often travel situations where a passenger is working while I’m driving and needs to plug in the laptop. This is helpful for that and expands the amount of charging ports I have available. I appreciate the power switch that doesn’t require unplugging the unit to keep it from pulling power from the battery unnecessarily. The thing I don’t love is that the power cord is super short. I had hoped to run the cord under a seat, as the need is most often for passengers in the second or third row. The power cord is only long enough for me to plug it in the console and set it on top of the console door, meaning that I have to wrestle around it to get in. It also means it is less accessible for those passengers. This is only an issue depending upon how you intend to use it, but it bears consideration.

This is a great addition to the car especially when traveling so you can plug a normal plug in like for a laptop or other device. It doesn’t get too hot, fit the 12v ports in my car well, and has been super functional.

I’m moving across country with a camper and wanted a way to plug things in occasionally inside my truck so I got this inverter. It works great, provides steady reliable power and allows ac devices to be charged and used when driving. No having to pull over to find a plug in and no need to run a generator.

Worked exactly as advertised and it was really easy to install. 50% increase in power.
