Installation Instructions:
✔Note: There is a CLEAR or BLUE film cover of the product for protective. Please removal this film before using.
- Clean the area where the trim is to be installed. Make sure the surface is free of wax, oil, dust or water.
- Install the strip on the vehicle body or bumper and press it firmly to ensure the trim is fixed well.
- Heat Gun May Needed If temperature is very low (heating the surface aids adhesion).
- Do not wash your car within 2~3 days after you stick.

The trim came semi-rolled up, likely cut off a spool, and stuffed in a amazon envelope. This caused multiple kinks in the trim that will be obvious when installed. Expect to trim these unusable areas out. That was my first impression on opening the package. Next I cut off a 6″ piece to test fit where I plan to install. The material cuts clean and easy. Unfortunately the double sided tape is junk. I couldn’t get it to stick to fresh paint, even after I tried cleaning it with alcohol. When a piece does stick, it’s only temporary… it pops off the wall within seconds due to the weak tape and the material wanting to retain the bow from being coiled. I have no idea how this has ANY 5 star reviews… they either got it for free or were sent a different product.

A grocery cart scratched the rear bumper just below the Black plastic below the rear door of my 4 Runner. Used touch up paint but could not get it to look right. Applied this and it looks great. Didn’t like the GLOSS look so I used wire wool to buff out the gloss and that worked great. The 1/2″ was perfect for what I needed. I have read a few reviews were there were complaints about the adhesion. I tried a smaller piece and took off the adhesive tape and it came off the trim pretty easy so, if the trim does come loose I will put on some of that VHB tape which will stick it forever.!!

The black version looks fine in the shade but when you put it in the sun, it has a purple pearlescent hue to it like it has UV damage from years of exposure to the sun. It would look terrible on a black car like mine. I am returning it.Update:When I contacted Seller for a return, they notified me there was a blue protective film on it. I thought it was only on the chrome version because I could not see it on my black version. The ends were cut so precisely that there is no evidence of the blue film, I had to pick at it like 20 times with my nail before it released. I put it on and it looks great!

Its a good trim molding. I used it on the roof top after my stock molding was blown away by carwash dryer. It doesnot have adhesion in the center but I appreciate the customer support. they were able to solve my issue and were super responsive.

The chrome plastic trim is easy to apply and stays stuck were it’s applied. Looks great.

Trim peeled off the vehicle. I cleaned and dried the surface before install. Unfortunately a large section feel off of the car.

It’s a nice product, very sticky. I don’t know why people are saying it doesn’t stick. I put a piece on crooked and it was not easy to take back off to fix. That being said, it’s not like a perfect mirror. There are wrinkles in the reflection. But all and all it looks good. I put it on my doors to help protect them from car doors.
