Gets the job done in a pinch for cheap. Quality of tools and line is very poor tho. Takes a while to get a nice flare because the tools don’t line up great but one you figure it out you can get a flare that at least won’t leak.

This set did end up working great for my brake line repair. I double flared my lines with it. The biggest problem and the reason it got 4 stars and not five was due to the bender joints being so tight that I had to use a bench vise and a rubber hammer to work the joints free. It took about an hour of back and forth to free it up.The best part was the cutter size, very small and easy to get into small spaces. It really helped when getting to the line on the car. This is not a “pro” kit, its maded for the home mechanic were it will get used every now and again, not a everyday use tool IMO.

I am disappointed with this product. As soon as I had opened the box the case that holds the tool was already broken. The cutter that came with it isn’t very good at all. It will eventually cut the tube but it doesn’t do it well at all. Just to cut one piece what time consuming and you had to be completely lined up to cut the pipe. I have done a lot of plumbing in my lifetime and I know how to cut copper pipe. The cutter is just not made well.So I had to order a cutter to be able to do the job that I originally bought this for. Also there are no directions included in this toolkit. You either have to know how it works before ordering it or perhaps look for a YouTube video that will explain it to you.If you get past the negative comments I can say that the actual tool will do what it is advertised to do.
