Nice enough skid plate. I bought it to replace the original “diaper” that had fallen apart. It’s aluminum with a nice looking gray powder coat. Mine arrived with one corner a little bent from shipping, but a few whacks with a dead-blow flattened it back out. I have a 2020 F150 with a 3.5 EcoBoost and FX4 package. The bolt holes all line up with something on the underside of the truck, but mounting it could have been better. I had to use stacks of washers on the two front bolt locations and one rear corner to space this over the factory plates, where minor changes would have made it bolt right up. The last corner I ended up having to stuff a bolt head into a frame rail, thread a nut on from the bottom and hope for the best as it will be a real pain to ever get off if needed. The hardware provided seems of good quality. Just be aware that there is ZERO guidance or instructions, you’re on your own bolting it on. This does NOT bolt up like the Ford Raptor part. To be fair, it would probably have fit better if the truck did not have the FX4 front and transfer case skid plates installed. Also – I’d call this more “decorative” than functional as a skid plate, it’s going to cover the underside and slow down catalytic converter thieves but it’s not heavy enough to not bend if it hits rocks or something. But who rock crawls in an F150? No idea how the thickness/stiffness compares fo the factory plate.
